The price of the room is cheaper when you book via online from any hotel app. I got the room for IDR 112,000 from Traveloka app, stayed in May 2023. For this price, the room is relatively clean, I got a room with view of port, better to see sea than roads. All worked well: the toilet flush, the shower, the hot water, the aircon, the windows, I didn't watch TV so I didn't know if it worked or not.
The roof was leaking in some parts, but only to the wall, so it was not a problem for me. I could still use the room and all its amenities well. The hotel provided clean towels, but not toiletries.
The mattress feel supernice in my room, the queen bed is pretty big with soft pillows.
Free mineral water from dispenser in the restaurant area (I call it restaurant eventhough noone said anything about it, it was just my guess) where you can refill your own water bottle. Smoking allowed in this area.
The area of the hotel is also peaceful compared to university areas or the Ambon city (in anotehr part or the island). Foods are relatively easy to find, there was really good porridge selling in the front of the hotel at around 8-10 AM in the morning cost IDR 20,000 per portion. I booked the room via Expedia and chose to pay at the hotel.
When I arrived, I was informed the hotel is full so they can’t accommodate me even I have a booking. They acknowledged the fact that I have a booking. Their explanation is that priority will be given to the one who make the payment online.
However, I was never informed about this policy. In addition, even they want to did this, they should at least inform me in advance.
During the communication, only the receptionist was dealing with this matter in a casual and “none of my business” manner via google translate. When I demand to see the manager, the receptionist simply ignore.
Nevertheless, I have to make another booking somewhere else...

This hotel is so run down and filthy the photo's they use must be 20+ years old. We cancelled and left the staff were total incapable of even contacting/seeing their own system or head office. Yes they have no phone or email, staff sleep on the floor behind reception and just play computer games all day. We ,now 4 weeks later still can't get anyone to refund us even though we didn't stay there. They simply choose to ignore their guests. Do yourself a favour don't even consider...
