Tirtagangga Hot Spring Resort — Hotel in Garut

Trip on 4-6 April 2022 The room I got is the one near the pool which seems to be a new building. The room is good, both the space and the decorations, as well as the size of the bathroom (and the big bathub that could fit 2 people easily). However, it needs to be noted that there is no cold water here, so to get lukewarm water you need to fill the bathub in advance. The service is quite good honestly, when we have a late breakfast, the staff called in order to remind us for breakfast. There is also a dinner voucher, which is nice considering the location of the place which makes it hard to go out after you park in (because its hard to get a space). The parking staff also did a great job in which even though the parking space is super limited, they still managed to arrange it. Some downside though, that make it hard for me to give 5 stars: -There were too many people who are not guest at the pool While it is fine to open the pool for public but over population is a no no. We planned to use the pool when it was less crowded but it's crowded with people who are not guest from morning until night... This was also the reason why the parking space was very limited, and it is such a shame. -The food, some lf the food from buffet are good while some are very bland. The weird thing is, at one day the porridge was very good while the fried rice was bland, but on the next day, it was the opposite.. The food for room service was also lacking unfortunately. We ordered sirloin and wagyu rib eye. The sirloin was very though to eat, it feels like eating rubber due to the texture. While the rib eye quite soft, but the sauce is sadly lacking. But then again, food might not be the number one Overall, it is actually a nice place to stay, unless you are not one to...

Stayed for one night. Got a room on the top floor. The room itself needs more maintenance, as the bathroom door is half-broken, the ceiling shows sign of leakage, and the furniture has tearing signs. The cleanliness of the room can also be improved.

The bathroom itself is the main selling point, as it has a bath-tub (sort of) that can be filled with hot spring water. This is where you want to spent bathing, as the hot spring pool is open to public area and can get pretty crowded. The bath-tub is quite large, where two people can use it while sitting down inside the bath-tub.

The service overall is pretty good. Staffs are polite.

The food on breakfast is okay, but...

Cozy rooms with king size bed,enough for 2 adults and 1 child under 6 years yet it was still spacious.Have a great facilities for the Guest such as free access to Pool bath,and Therapy pool bath.For some type of rooms,they have free breakfast and dinner too👍👍the interior it was kind of old because the Hotel already existed since long time ago,it would be great if they have redecorate it with new interior😍one thing that may be consider by the management is there are no cold water inside the bathroom so it was little hard for us bcs all the water is hot😅The history behind the Hotel quite amazed me bcs it was built since 1969,and i have...
