Hotel Sumber Ria — Hotel in Gorontalo

Not the worst place we have stayed in, aircon was good, staff were friendly enough (once you got over them trying to charge you for a higher price room) Wifi was good. Didn't appreciate the friendly cockroach in the bathroom or the hoards of mosquitoes. Or the screeching from the sink that was outside the bathroom at 1am wasn't helpful either. But location is central, walking distance to plenty of shops and restaurants. Very basic room that wasn't awfully clean and they did give you an extra blanket from the single one provided when you asked! Would I stay again? ......

Rooms are fine. Bed and warm shower. Service is terrible. WiFi doesn’t work, wrong password so the man behind the desk said ‘ sorry‘ cannot help 😱! Nobody of the staff can help you because they don’t speak a word English. Not even try with google translate. breakfast at 8.00 AM. While we must check out at 7.30u .
