One of good place to stay in Jakarta

Cleanlines, this is my favorite, the hotel room nice and clean, the bath room also smell nice. I do love this point. Comfort, the bed not a bad one and not a good one, if we compare with other big luxury hotel sure it will be consider as a bad one, but if compared with same grade one, it is better, really nice and comfy, i like the feeling when my head touching its pillow. Food, variety? Nope...i will say not much variety, 1st day stay the breakfast is mix of indonesian, western food only, just standard one, omelete, egg, bread, and what people need to try is the Bread Pudding...i do love this...frankly i like bread that much...but the pudding is different, the smooth taste in my pallate is still lingering until night, the butter taste quite good. The other food that i tried during 1st day is ’nasi kebuli’, so so, not that good one. Sweet sour fish fillet, also taste not that bad, and the worst one is ‘roti maryam’, it taste like too many flour there, quite hard to cut and no butter taste, this not one of my favorite. Hospitality, the receptionist quite helping us during check in we really appreciate this, but the other staff? I think no smile on the 1st day we came. Even i have experience on the 1st breakfast, the counter girl halt me due to there was someone already use my room number for breakfast, and actually breakfast for two person but already taken both? What the? Maybe this one reducing my pallate sensitivity so i cant taste the food better as usual. Amenities, well, i cant understand this, usually hotel provide drinks in room, and yes they provide for the 1st night, but for the 2nd? Nope in my room, i decide to get from local grocery store then. Facility, swimming pool ok, no problem with that. But i heard that the gym is for member only? Lets see. Refrigerator in the room, thats good and working well. Water heater also in the room, quite good for making coffee and tea, they provide dilmah earl gray and english breakfast, but for coffee...dont...

Best experience I've ever been! I really recommend to hold your event or even just stay in here. I held an event there and also stayed for 4 nights with the big family.

On the event side: The hotel representative (Olivianty) who handled my event was really sweet and such a problem-solver. She advised and made my event even better. The food is yummy and consistent, from the first open house, food testing, to the D-Day. They used quality food, we can tasted the freshness. Banquet crew was also helpful and, the most important thing, friendly.

Now, the hotel itself and the room: The hotel located at the main road, right near the toll road, yet you have to detour to the entrance. It gives the private ambiance yet we still able to experience the city easily. We stayed at every room type (Superior, Deluxe, Junior Suite, Suite). The cleanliness of the each room was just as clean, it's standard of Aston, so we were not worry at all. They provide jug for mineral water, means unlimited supply of water:). The difference of Superior and Deluxe was the area only, it's quite spacious in the Deluxe Room. Junior Suite was my favorite, I like to see each area without divider. The Suite was good, with two rooms (one is the bedroom and other is dining and living room), they also provide Nespresso and the coffee pods.

Swimming pool is semi outdoor, it has roof so no direct sun light or rain. Yet we still able to feel the whether. For some people, it might be a bit small swimming pool. They also has gym, not just tiny gym with few equipment, the gym has dedicated spacious room. They also had really spacious outdoor, park, and mini playground.

There're lot of variation in the breakfast. From the mini breakfast to full one, also Noodle Station! In room F&B was good as well, both of the taste and price. It was quite a big portion.

Overall, I really recommend to stay here. Deff we'll be back and recommend our colleague and family to stay in Harper Hotel MT...

Irwan, one of the supervisor, came to me after I had breakfast here and to make this review. Honestly, this hotel have a great value, and this is after our second visit!

FIRST, its location especially if you are a frequent whoosh user PLUS it is kinda integrated to the LRT and bus station, so you can go around Jakarta with the beautiful public transport that Jakarta has nowadays

SECOND, we had an upgrade from Superior to Junior Suite, and this really upgrade our experience after a whole day long activities in Jakarta, a simple but great gesture from the hotel.

THIRD, adequate amount of breakfast variations, the foods are great and you can try many things from Asian, European and lots of pastries amd waffels. BUT, their coffee quality was very very bad! I tried to order separately from the cafe and it is equally BAD!! So , if you are a coffee lover, don't even try it, you're welcome!

FOURTH, good staff and they are very helpful, kind and attentive.

I haven't tried the pool and facilities during our stay, the pool looks okay not special, but I bet it is a huge advantage to cool down after a hot Jakarta, if its clean. :p

Extra careful: we found a pink chicken on our first breakfast here, so always check on your chicks!
