Kaisar Hotel Jakarta — Hotel in Jakarta

First of all let me tell you that this was an old hotel. Since I know that, I didnt really expect much and my expectation just right. Staying here on mid January 2023, request the smoking room but got non-smoking room. have a complaint but they say the smoking room was full. But I didnt even found much guest at that hotel, plus that was a weekday.

The ambience was really old, the loby, lift, alley, dining room even the rooms. That just fine but I concern into their cleanliness. The lobby just fine, the old-style lobby with warm white lamp, old sofa and woddy smells. The lift was small but okay. The alley was dirty and creepy at the same time. I think they need to change the carpets. The room was clean, which is fine. Old TV, old sofa and Old bed. To be honest the bed was comforting, both air conditioner and hot water worked well. Fast wifi also another plus point for this Hotel.

However, Their toilet doesn't have a toilet shower or bidet spray, you only can use toilet tissue, so I use a shower to change the bidet spray. The shower didn't work well. The shower head was damaged so the water sprayed anywhere. really uncomfort to use. The towel was stinky, leading me buy my own towels at nearby convenience store. The bath soap smelly, I'm not sure did it still safe to use or not. I didnt taste their breakfast due to in hurry.

For those price (at traveloka), I think I can get another hotel with better experience. However, the experience to stay at this hotel was okay but wouldn't come back if they doesn't have any improvement. The hotel staffs is helpfull and friendly, thats enough to cure my uncomfort night.

Quite room, I understand the hotel is old hotel also the room was not upgrade yet but me & husband enjoy our stay in the room. I came to Jakarta every week, this the first stay in kaisar.||There's mentioned free wifi in the room but after tried to connect the wifi very low signal and cannot connected it so decide to use our own wireless.||two times in a day have been visit their lobby but the hotel seems have limited staff, even there's Duty Manager desk but nobody stay there, also when we call from the room to the reception the staff was slow responses and then decide to call operator service fro any require.||Funny things, how come the big hotel don't have printer even in the office||when we need an assistance to print out our boarding pass and a girl answer me, they don't have any printer even in the back office, it's so poor.||It's good service from the staff during breakfast, food not to many but still OK for us due to we will not have much for breakfast.||Still thinking if I come back to Jakarta will stay again here but the hotel should be do upgrade and have some public facilities (printer, etc) due to you are build on...
