Blackbird Hotel — Hotel in Java

I recently stayed at Blackbird Hotel in Lembang, Bandung, and I must say—it was a truly wonderful experience that exceeded my expectations!

Room Experience: I booked the Medium Room with Bathtub, and it was perfectly cozy. The highlight was definitely the huge bathtub—the water was consistently hot, making it perfect for a long soak after exploring Lembang’s cool air. The room itself was clean, warmly decorated, and came with a smart TV for streaming and a kettle for making hot drinks—just what you need in a cool highland setting. The bathroom was spotless, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, offering a comfortable balance to the outside weather.

Facilities & Atmosphere: The pool area had a chill, relaxing vibe, great for a laid-back afternoon. But what truly stood out was the on-site cafe. It felt like an exotic gem tucked away in the hills. Their nasi goreng was incredibly tasty, and surprisingly, so was the pasta—which I wasn’t expecting in a place like this! Even better, they offer 50% off selected menu items for hotel guests, making the experience both delicious and affordable.

Service: The staff were all amazing—super friendly, warm, and always ready with a smile. They made me feel welcome from the moment I stepped in until checkout. Their hospitality definitely added to the overall comfort of my stay.

A Few Things to Note: • The room didn’t have a minibar or mini fridge, which I found a bit surprising considering the price range. • The presence of cats around the cafe and pool area was a bit of a downside for me personally, as I have a cat allergy. • There were a few flies in the cafe during the day. • The breakfast selection could be expanded—currently limited to American breakfast, nasi goreng, or mie goreng.

That said, none of these minor issues took away from the overall experience. The positives heavily outweigh the negatives, and I would absolutely recommend Blackbird Hotel to anyone—whether you’re traveling solo like me, as a couple, or with family. It’s a charming, cozy, and welcoming place to unwind in the cool air of Lembang.

Came here because I have an invitation for my kids workshop. So please be note, i am not yet try staycation in here. But someday maybe will do. So my review was about the environtment and also public facility in here for not staying guest.

This hotel located at sersan bajuri near lembang. To get here I sugest you to bring your own vehicle, taxi or online taxi. Why because the location are far away from the crowd in the city, quite enought. Event tought there are public transportation from ledeng, its verry long time to wait. You can see the signage this hotel at the right side main road.

First impression about this hotel are : wow the environtement the design are verry simple, green. I like it. With extraordinary lobby design i think..hehe.. ohya, in the front if lobby also you can find a little shop selling clothes in there.

When you entrance, you will find first their restaurant sea com with great ambience. The building containing the hotel room itself is behind by surrounding a green field. So our workshop location are in there also arround swimming pool.

What I like in here was the environment which blends with nature, with bamboo mounds in the yard and others that blend into the design of the hotel building. So that makes it comfortable.

I also taste some their food along my kid workshop. Its delicious.

I recomend this hotel for people who want tranquility, at one with nature and away from the crowd. Who really wants a vacation. because its location is far from the hubbub of the city. But to the place of tourism, especially those located in the area of ​​Lembang and its surroundings are very close. The price of hotel rooms per night is also...

So basicly the place is unique but the explanation of the apartment a bit unexpected is stating 2 bedroom but at the end its seperated below alone and you have to go outside to go up not directly connected, the room downstairs is very humid feels, all the towel is not clean we found a hair.. and the blacket i think not being change becaue when i check in the morning the right side of the blacket have a blood stain that seems to me they just flip the side but not changing the blanket i try to clean the blood with wet tissue and its clean so its clear they just flip the blanket side..hmmmm.. the bathtub for room 343 is 1 side for changing the water from fauchet to shower is damage so it only can use shower and have an ant surround bathtub.. lady Staff at the reception also not that friendly, at the beginning check in.. and before the lady said will wa once the room ready but nobody contacting even the room ready.. so quiet dissappointed, . Coffee is good restaurant also not bad and not expensive.. hmm cleanest can be improveee change the sheet really please ..

Very loud and noisy area.. you...
