Manoko Ville Lembang — Hotel in Java

One of the worst places I've ever stayed.||||The images make it look like a palace, but it's a dung heap.||||The host provided an incorrect address, which created a lot of anxiety and anger, and caused us to waste nearly two hours trying to find it. The streets are very narrow, and we were forced to turn around (U Turn) many times. Both Google Maps and Apple Maps showed the wrong address. We had to stop many times and ask local people, showing them the photos in hopes they'd seen it. So finding the place was a nightmare. The host took did not respond after nearly 2 hours of texting. They did not provide a phone number.||||Because of the small streets, the right front bumper was damaged, due to attempting to navigate around other cars. The repair will cost quite a bit, although we don't have a quote yet. The car belongs to my cousin, so I am very embarrassed that this happened.||||We finally got to the place, and were met by the VERY nice staff. The older woman staff told us she had to go into town just then, and would we like her to bring food back for us? How amazing is that? The food was great, and I cannot recommend the staff more. They were the ONLY bright spot about this rental.||||So the place looks great in photos, but the reality is different. Notice that there are no images of the bathrooms, for example? The bathrooms look like something you'd see in a prison in Caracas, or if you go to summer camp. There are years of calcium scaling on the shower head(s), and all the fixtures are as cheap as you can imagine. Everything in the house is the absolute lowest cost pieces of IKEA 💩 you can imagine. In the kitchen, the knife came apart in my hands--luckily it was dull/not sharp or I might have cut myself. The kitchen was not cooking ready at all. We couldn't get the right burner to turn on at all, and the only pans they furnished were woks. The right burner is the "wok" burner, so we had a hard time using the left one with a wok. There were no salt or any spices. There was no toaster. (We're American and used to eating toast and eggs for breakfast). There was no cooking oil, no butter of any kind. They put a bug zapper in the kitchen, which makes a VERY loud "POP! BZZZZT", which scared my 78 year old Mother in Law each time. ||||The WiFi worked, but only in one room, so we had no WiFi the entire time. The pool looks amazing, but, I got into it and there was a weird slime coating the bottom of the pool, so I got out.||||Do you see the nicely painted roof tiles in the photos? Well, the other sides of the roof are ugly and old, and you see them from the upstairs bedroom. Why didn't the owner paint the entire roof? The answer is that they are a cheap, penny pinching miser who didn't want to spend ANY money on this place, other than to make it look good for the photo. In the US we call that "Bait and Switch", which is exactly what happened to me, and cost me $785 USD.||||It was so bad that we left after just one night, cancelling the rest of the stay (3 days total). Stayed with 9 friends for 2 nights, nestled among residential areas which is safe and feels very homely.||||Very impressive ville with 4 spacious rooms, comfortably accommodating 8 adults, extra beds on request. A beautifull pool in the middle of the ville. ||||The Ville consists of 2 building L-shaped so guests do not feel cluttered, it's very bright and cosy. Cooling and require no air conditioning. 2 bed rooms on 1 building and another 2 bedrooms with a kitchen on another building. Kitchen comes with full utensils for simple cooking. Very well design and decorated with contemporary furbish.||TV comes with cable channels. ||||Caretaker Pak Ujang and wife will help with any assistance you require, even buying dinner at 10pm, hot and fresh Nasi Goreng Kambing......wow. Ibu Ujang is helpfull and does the laundry for us. Wifi available and it's super fast. ||||The ville is speck and clean as a whistle, owner is kind and understanding. ||||Locations is good and convenient, not so close to the town and yet a short distance to attractions like, Tangkuban Perahu, Floating Market, Maribaya and others.||||Eateries is just 7 minutes drive away, I'll definitely be...

Pertama kali memutuskan menginap disini krn sdh pernah menginap di properti Imapaka sebelumnya di puncak, dan saya ingin mencoba villa mereka yg di bandung, sy booking 2 villa Imapaka sekaligus (manoko di malam 1 & barn di malam 2). Krn situasi pandemi, memang jml org yg ikut masih blm psti, ternyata di hari H team kami yg ikut sekitar 20 org sdgkn kapasitas mereka ktnya max.18 org.

Dr awal dtg sdh ditegor krn over capacity, via tlp oleh 3 admin berbeda dari 3 nmr berbeda. Smpe keder sendiri udh jwb smua ptanyaan yg sama eh diulang lg sm admin lain yg tlp menanyakan hal yg sama. Jg ditanya kapan sisa org dr team kami mau keluar dr villa itu sdgkn saat itu sy mau ada acra briefing dgn tim, kami mnt waktu dblg hny bs smpe jam21 stelah itu tdk boleh berisik. Tp nyatanya bbrp jam sekali diganggu oleh tlp mereka yg menegur kami, ga cukup menegur via penjaga villa, tp smpe admin 3 org jg ikut tlp2 seolah kesalahan kami fatal. Even kami numpang kumpul dlu toh nnti sisanya akan pergi drsitu, knp hrs dtlp terus pdhl masih sore? Bener2 banyak peraturan ga penting, berisik dkit ga boleh, diawasi terus2an. Smpe akhrnya deal additional 2.5jt utk 2malam krn total kami yg meningap jdnya 22 org (krn mereka blg harus buru2 keluar dr villa utk sisa orgnya sdgkn kami masi mau ada acara, lebih baik smua menginap disitu tp additional price).

Stelah bayar additional masi terus diusik, dtlpin cuma nyuruh jgn berisik pdhl berisik kmi biasa aja ga heboh2 jg. Jam1 malam dia masi tlp2 sy yg sdh tdr, cuma mau negor tim saya yg masi ngobrol diluar dekat kolam renang. Bener2 ga sopan perlakuan ke tamu.

Besoknya dia hub lg kasih liat selimut yg kena bara apa pdhl bener2 sekecil itu, tp disuruh gnti 250rb diluar additional kmrn. Singkat cerita sy dsuruh deposit 1jt krn mau pindah ke villa barn 1 & tkt merusak properti mereka, jd diminta deposit security senilai tsb.

Kami naik bus 3/4 dr awal dilarang masuk ke villa manoko&barn tanpa ada solusi. Ga peduli thdp tamu. Wkt di manoko kami masi santai naik gocar dr tmpt bus parkir. Tp yg heran wkt di barn, pdhl bus tnyta bs masuk tp sm mereka dilarang!!

Bgtu kami jalan kaki smbil bw2 barang, warga pd blg: masukin aja busnya bisa kok, ddlm jg ada lahan luas utk puterbalik bus.

Yg sy kaget bgtu smpe di villa barn, mereka foto2&videoin kami smbil sibuk tlpin owner laporan ini itu. Smpet ada penjaga nyeletuk: kalo bus segede gni mah bisa masuk, kirain gede bgt! (Dr kmrn kmn aja ud diinfo tp ga ada solusi LOL!). Lebih heran lg pas masuk ke kamar, mereka kasih kami 1 selimut yg ada bolongnya dan jelas itu bolong lebih fatal drpd kena bara api setitik yg mereka mnt ganti + deposit. Sblmnya jg mereka nge gembok pager villa dgn alasan kami check in kemalaman (sejak kapan check in kemalaman jd masalah utk org villa)? selain itu bgtu kami mau minum dan lihat dispenser, kosong ga ada galon nya! Bener2 mengecewakan! Omongan ga sesuai kenyataan. Perlakuan ke cust buruk bgt. Drpd repot2 cari kekurangan tamu, lebih baik siapin galon, gas, bersihin kmr mandi atas tuh yg banyak serangganya.

Klo pny villa gamau beresiko, tamu gaboleh ngapa2in, tamu banyak dikasih larangan, knp harus bkin villa? Alasan krn lg pandemi tp sy liat review mereka di google banyak bintang 1 jauh dr sblm pandemi. Apa tdk ada perbaikan? Sy sering pakai airbnb tapi baru kaliini dpt villa super annoying dgn smua aturan gak make sense nya.
