I was there for very short trip with my family, at the beginning of the entrance the receptionist gathered me to let me know that we have to pay 100thousand per person, judging from the receptionist area i was quiet skeptic as i thought the food and beverage will taste average yet we decided to proceed, entering the area i was quiet surprise and immediately thought this place must owned by a "bule" , lived in bali for years and traveling give me an understanding their style and taste regards this, so i am quite happy because they sure will serve good ambience, food and else ..finally we entered the dock area because thats the best spot they have for enjoying the view, before we decided to sit down we took some photos of us and one of the staff approached us asking where to sit and the ticket ( and i want to sit in the big seating area next to bar right corner and also told her that we have the ticket ) she left and please us to sit there without any additional information, as we about to go to the seating area while we casually took picture, a male staff great us and asked about our desire for seating, told the same thing but surprisingly the guy told us that in that seating area guest must pay 800 thousands and I said well we r 7 of us and we have the ticket , we still not sure how good your food and beverage is, surely we will spend more if we like it ( which is true in the end we spent over about 1.5 mio ), he kept on arguing and I argue back until he said.. well I just letting you know about the information and i replied that your colleague earlier a female didn't tell me about this requirement, long story short the female staff that great us earlier came to check our ticket wrote them down the number and etc, we enjoyed there for sometimes, order lots of food and beverages and i am curious about the steak, i ordered it and it was good one. To be honest their food and beverage considered worth to spend and comeback, while we enjoying everything my husband and son decided to have jet ski ride and happened that he forgot that he kept the ticket in his pocket and gotten wet, but we thought should be ok since the lady took the number of the ticket as we concerned, came to the moment we had to pay our bill, the cashier came and ready for payment and i told her that we have the ticket already and should be deducted from the amount, because shes uncertain as we told her the ticket got wet, she sent the lady that wrote down the ticket and check the ticket as well, but surprisingly even she knows that ticket got wet, she insisted my husband to get the ticket ( he left it in the his wet pocket inside the car , as my son and him had to change clothes after jet ski) even he was not happy about the system ( she know we have ticket also wrote the number, shouldn't make things complicated, if that so then she should have took our ticket and keep it with them as anything possible ) he still decided to go back to the car and handed her the ticket that was already half thorn and soaked, their service left us feeling uncomfortable and bad experience despite the food and beverage we did enjoy, i hope the management train better on how to handle such situation and not such unnecessary gesture, was thinking taking my friends to comeback and stay at their villas but knowing such service, I don't think so. I'm from Magelang, my husband is Suisse and we traveled there after visiting relatif who lives in...
Β Β Β Read moreWe never visited Jepara before, so we booked a standard room at Ocean View because it has good reviews on Tripadvisor. The check-in process was a bit delayed, since it was school-holiday season. We were asked to wait at their pool area and we were blown away.||The hotel is right on the beach. The pool-restaurant is facing to the ocean. It doesn't feel like you're someplace in Central Java. The ambience is a bit Bali-ish, very laid-back-beachy vibes. And this is what you SHOULDN'T miss : enjoying sunset from the restaurant, especially at their dock/jetty. Breathtaking!||The room was a bit crampy and outdated. The bathroom has a bit weird-layout. The food was so-so. But those were not causing any major concerns for us. We can still enjoy our stay and the hotel's location is also good. Walking-distance to the public beach if you want to experience the real Jepara beach-life.||We had a great stay, collected good memories, though only for one...
Β Β Β Read moreWe arrived after a long drive from jakarta to an almost full hotel, we managed to get the last std room on a Saturday night, (booking is recommended) our room was small but clean, with a simple and clean bathroom. The TV was only working in black and white??
Had a quick dinner, the food was surprisingly good for somewhere outside a big city, shisha was horrible but the service was really good when I complained. Happily they had San miguel light and Guinness. The pair resto is a nice touch with the owners power boat raised along side.
In the morning there was a water issue, we didt have any for a shower! but it was resolved quite quickly.
It's a pretty little hotel, but it's kind of expensive for the services offered. I wish we had time to...
