Trio Front One Resort Magelang — Hotel in Kota Magelang

Stayed here for couple nights and had satisfying experience, please note I got the room only price at a good deal so it plays a role as well in this review. Located at very much strategic location, across the hotel there is the only mall in the city where any travellers can get almost anything they need and also easy to find since situated on the intersection as well. Service wise, the staff is friendly and attentive enough to what we need, like when we asked for morning call at 4am since we need to cacth sunrise the next morning, the staff did the call and even mentioned the time when he called our room for the morning call. It is just the room that need more improvements, since we stayed in the standard deluxe room it is nearby the function rooms and the sound from outside is leaking to our room. It will be great if it can be more sound-proof. Beside of that, the water heater also needs about 5 mins to warm-up, which is not practical for morning...

Staying at Front One Trio Resort was such a pleasant experience. The room was spacious and well-organized, with great natural lighting during the day. But what really stood out was the ambiance at night—the warm, directional lighting created an elegant and calming atmosphere.

The corridors are aesthetically pleasing, featuring hidden linear lights that play with shadows and rhythm. The minimalist detailing is done precisely—from clean joinery and ceiling trims to seamless material transitions. The facade is simple yet attractive, with clean geometric lines and tropical elements like wooden screens and vertical shading. At night, the facade lighting adds a soft dramatic effect, making the building feel both understated and refined.

This is not the first time im stay at this hotel. First, receptionist stil asking me for id card and the reason is for copy. Unbelievable. Twice time im stay at this hotel. I think this hotel did not have a data of guest profile so receptionist still asking of identity card ( ktp ). And the second, the hot water is not working. I already follow the instruction at the bathroom but still not working. I have expectation when im so tired after bussines trip, i can use hot water for relaxt. But NOTHING. IM NOT STAY IN THIS...
