Manuver Surf and Stay Uluwatu — Hotel in Kuta Selatan

We stayed here for a whole week and had an amazing experience. The atmosphere is nice and quiet, perfect for rest, and the AC worked really well. The beds and towels were spotless, smelled great, and could be changed upon request. At first, we didn’t have a kettle to heat water, but the staff kindly provided one along with coffee, and they refilled it every time they cleaned the room, which we truly appreciated.

The pool looked great, although we didn’t use it much due to an accident, but others were enjoying it. The property felt very peaceful, we hardly saw other guests, which made it even more relaxing. The staff was wonderful: you can rent a bike here for 100 a day, they helped us by heating up our microwave meals, and even kept our food cold overnight when needed.

A couple of things to note: during the day, the nearby area sometimes had garbage burning, but we only noticed it twice since we were mostly out. Also, if you’re sensitive to noise, bring earplugs, as the geckos at night can be surprisingly loud.

The photos were deceiving. The first room we were given had an insane amount of Mold (Room 3). The minute I walked in I was hit with the dewy dense air and my throat was instantly irritated. You can see it on the walls and the bed framing/side tables. We asked the staff for another room (Room 1) which was significantly better but not ideal for more than one night. We stayed at this inn because it was close to the event venue. The inn is quite small, the room size is also small but there is a swimming pool. The room is standard but comfortable. The pool is also quite large. This inn is suitable for just resting after traveling around all day or just for sleeping. Not suitable for families with children.
