Warung Anak Medan — Restaurant in Kuta Selatan

Spider, hair and eyelashes (yes, more than 1) and a 2cm metal shred - that's what I found in my food. Based on the proximity to where we stayed and good reviews we decided to give it a try. The lady who took our order was very sweet. Unfortunately, can't say much positive about the food. I've ordered: 1)Fried Kwetiau Medan - here I found hair and eyelashes 2) Fish Sweet and Sour - that's where a spider was found on the first bite 3) Fresh Potato - that's where the metal shred was They also brought cut up fruits at the end that we didn't even bother trying given the experience... Also, it's located on the busy street, where the road is broken, so every vehicle that drives by stirs up the dust and it's in such close proximity...

The food was excellent, fresh and super cheap.

The husband and wife owners make everything there for you fresh. It takes a little bit of time, but is definitely worth the wait and they are helpful.

I had the fish nasi goren, a fish curry and a fresh papaya juice.

I would eat here regularly if I lived in the area. Highly rate this place.

The owner and the staff are friendly. They have indonesian and western menu, they have vegetarian menus too here. Most of the customers are foreigners. And the owner knows how to make great food. When I stayed around here, I didn't miss the chance to always eat here. If they are not busy, they will give you free of mix fruits, how nice it is. Chicken and beef blackpaper are my favorite !!
