Swiss-Belresort Pecatu — Hotel in Kuta Selatan

I’m a bit disappointed by the service and the cleanliness of the hotel in general. Mold smell is real here, specially in hallways, at the restaurant and in some rooms.

The good: restaurant staff was super sweet and nice, breakfast omelette was very good, pancakes were delicious. The view from my balcony was nice overlooking the pool area and golf course. A lot of greenery. Hotel is located in a secluded and central area so you’re close to a lot of places. Very nice beaches nearby. The room had floor to ceiling mirror, spacious balcony, working table, small fridge. Hotel has a spa zone on site where you can have a massage, nails done, etc. very convenient! Pool area is decent. I think there’s 2-3 different pools and it never was crowded.

The not so good: fridge had mold in it. Hallways, some rooms and restaurant smelled like mold. Bathroom was smelly too. Bath mat was a mess and needed an upgrade. No pool towels provided. It took forever to give us a room. Elevator wasn’t working. Staff charged me for room upgrade after leaving us wait for almost 4 hours for the room setup.

We were given a dark room with no balcony on first floor after waiting for it for a couple of hours. Even though we have arrived after 2pm — rooms supposed to be ready by then — in our case the room was not yet. I asked for a change since we didn’t like the smell and the view. They made us wait for another couple of hours, and they charged us more on top of it. My family, including my baby, were stuck in the lounge area for almost 4 hours, all tired. And no one even said a word of apology. The staff seem to not care about the guests comfort. They care about your money instead. Other thing I noted was the housekeeping. When we were walking by the rooms in hallway there were plates and garbage placed outside random rooms on the floor and it was left there forever, I even saw plastic coffee cups left next to elevator entrance on 5th floor. The rats and ants are definitely guests here. Aside from this, my room was never cleaned even tho I asked them to. They just left after giving me a smile. What a service way to go! And about the service, any request I’ve made they either ignored it or simply forgot about it. I had to ask them several times about one simple thing. And theres no number directory nearby the phone in the rooms, so you can’t even call the reception if you need anything…

Another issue - the restaurant and its breakfast. First and foremost — the mold smell was so strong in there! It was disgusting to even wait for the food inside. Breakfast buffet lucks variety. No good coffee, no any nut butter. The food quality was very poor. Not much to...

this hotel was nothing like the photos, it is run down and old and does not look like a "4 star hotel".

There was a lot of issues with the room we stayed in ( room 2223) The walls were dirty and the mini-bar completely empty and not cold enough to keep any drinks in there, no tea or coffee was provided either. There was also no conditioner in the shower and wasn't refilled during the 4 nights that we stayed there whilst the others were full. The bathroom door is also the wardrobe space door that has a light permanently on, so if you wanted the bathroom door shut you would have to deal with the light on the whole night. The towels were old and fraying and gret instead of fresh fluffy white.

the Facilities are next to gone, the gym was filthy with only 3 machines, one of them was out of order.

The pool area was beautiful however not possible to stay there for hours as there are only 3 chairs that provide shade which were taken pretty quickly in the morning.

Room service was an uncomfortable experience as they do not charge on tab, our drinks were brought up to our room and the staff asked us to pay for it immediately, something i was not expecting at a 4 star hotel.

The buffet breakfast was horrendous, stale cereal very small selection of hot food that was the same each day.

The location is not walking distance to any shops, be prepared to be scooting around, i would recommend hiring a scooter whilst you stay at this hotel.

Don't be fooled by the 5 star reviews on this platform like i did, they are most likely fake to push down the bad reviews.

I am disappointed with the service. It was a 4 stars hotels but : Not enough man power. We need to queue for 30-45 minutes do check out or even to request for an extra key. I asked for an iron and it never comes. The room crew is not well trained.. 3.1 They only put 1 set of toothbrush for a double bed room. 3.2 no razor blade (need to ask but never come, until i asked directly with the cleaning room staff) 3.3 They always wash the towel even there is a sign which says they only wash towel which is on the floor.. I ask their policy but they dont know.. small swimming pools which are dirty and start loosing its floor tile.. It can be small but please at least it has a clean water. They are building smth but dont put a aplogize note and stated the duration. It is aloud noise from 10:00 until 18:00 A thin wall.. You can hear old aunties conversation till late.. Toilet exhaust fan is not working.. There is a fan but never turned on. any smell stays on the toilet... Found a dead cockroaches in other room and bug in my rooms.. breakfast : 9.1 cold rise soup because they forgot to turn on the heater. 9.2 an empty black pepper grinder in salad bar for 2 days until I asked.

Main guest are mailand china tourists or weeding guests..

A cheap price after promotion.

They have a good roasted baliness pig restaurants :)

At last they have a friendly staff even seems untrained and lack of man power :)
