The homestay is situated at the border of Senggigi and Mataram. A bit hidden place from main road but no need to worry if your driver know where is the homestay. Need to walk about 2 mins to reach the main road. Got a lot of convenience store near the homestay like 24 hours shop (Indomart and Alfamart) and JMart as well. JMart is a local convenience shop and it's cheap too. Apart from convenience store, there are small restaurant that serve local and delicious food. The one that we eat for our first night dinner is Sugeng Rawoh Warung Noval. Should try the Lalapan. Superb! Near the homestay also got small push cart selling "Apam Balik" or better known as "Terang Bulan". Cheap yet delicious. ||||We arrive a little bit late from schedule time and the staff (a guy) who check in us is nice, polite and helpful. We request for side by side room and the homestay did arrange as per our request. Thank you for that. Our room is exactly as per in the Booking.com site. But, I didn't expect the toilet to be "open" as in no roof at the shower part. Not a normal thing for me. No hot water at all. ||||Room was very clean as we know the owner is a Japanese. Japanese people clean one. No wonder the room is clean. Air-cond in room need to wait like 30 mins for it to be cold. Wifi is free and fast one. Got one plug spot only. Probably can add another one more plug. Breakfast is ok. Serve at room balcony. They serve fruit and toast bread with banana. Delicious. Simple yet ok.||||The only different I spot is the homestay surrounding area. In the Booking.com no gazebo but end up got gazebo in front of our room and make the...
Read moreThis place is a shame. We decided to stay here (in a private room) because it was cheap and our budget was very low. On the second day, when the staff cleaned the room, they stole 600.000 IDR from our backpacks (38€). As we were 100% it was stolen and not lost/spent (we have a strict control of our accountings) we reported it to the owner. All she did was apologise and suggested that we should not have left the money inside the room, which was private. It looked liked it was not the first time this happened. The laundry service was awful and we had to leave with our clothes wet. After being stolen 38€ wat we got was a 1€ discount on the laundry. Location is also not really good (15 minutes driving from the closest town). This place is not recommended at all unless you want to waste your money...
