RedDoorz Syariah @ Jl. Cengger Ayam Dalam — Hotel in Malang

Honestly no idea how this place has got the reviews it’s got. Would definitely not recommend unless you’re left with no other option. Here are my issues with the place: The rooms have no windows. The rooms have no sink. The walls are a brown / grey colour with marks (look like damp marks) to give off a prison feel. The water on the shower (which you have to use as a sink as well) is either boiling hot or cold. There was no toilet roll, and when I asked reception he said we don’t have toilet roll we just have tissues and handed me a load of loose tissues. The bathroom is very small & very basic so no where to keep your toiletries bag etc. We were on the second floor and the WiFi was terrible. The room had AC but it barely worked (had it on 19 degrees and it was still really hot). There were some positives I don’t want to miss out.. the communal area is nice. The staff were friendly. Ok rooms. We booked a junior suite but upon arrival we got a double room. Told us the junior suite was only bookable if you stayed a whole month. What the hell?

There are windows in weird places and no curtains. They leave the lights on 24/7 so the whole room is lit up during the night. Mosques nearby to keep you awake as well. There is no sink and the toilet was placed in a way that if your tall you had to sit sideways because it wouldn’t fit your...

👍 : Kamarnya bersih, wangi, kasurnya empuk, selimutnya tebel, AC lumayan dingin, dikasih 2 botol air mineral 600 ml, dikasih bantal gede 2 + bantal RedDoorz 1, dikasih handuk 2, dikasih alat mandi (2 sikat gigi, 1 pasta gigi kecil, trus satu botol kecil yg bisa dipakai buat sampo, body wash, dan kondisioner sekaligus. TV-nya layar datar, channel banyak dan suara jelas. Ada selambu buat nutupin jendela. Ada meja dan kursi, tersedia kotak tisu. Ada lemari buat naruh pakaian dan barang.

Di bawah ada kulkas jual minuman dan ada snack + pop mie. Lumayan, gak perlu jauh-jauh ke Indomaret/Alfamart. Ada rooftop, bisa lihat pemandangan. Sepeda motor bisa dimasukkan ke dalam supaya lebih aman. Di luar kamar ada rak sepatu. Suasana tenang karena di kawasan perumahan. Gak jauh dari sini kawasan kuliner Suhat.

Btw seneng banget soalnya ada kucing 😻 kucingnya warna hitam, bulunya halus, jinak dan menggemaskan 😽

👎 : Kamar mandi sempit banget, air shower pelan, pintunya susah dibuka tutup, harus diangkat dulu baru bisa nutup sempurna (agak repot sih), petugas resepsionisnya agak lama pas mau check in (orangnya agak kerepotan beres-beres gitu), stopkontak agak tinggi dari kasur, jadi susah kalo mau nge-charge sambil main HP.
