I came here with my friend who was interested to the same menu, Mie Aceh Rebus Telor (Rp 16.000,00). Since we were looking for something to warm us up that evening, we expected to taste a delicate soup noodles. But, we saw the fried ones looked so yummy. So, we decided to order Mie Aceh Goreng too (Rp 21.000,00). How surprising that we were ended up liking the fried one, here's why: .the soup noodles one has bigger texture of noodles .the soup noodles has more less 50% cabbage in composition .the soup noodles, maybe for the reasons above, lack of taste. It did have rich spices, the soup looked so delicious as we expected, but really missing a pinch of salt and sugar. .the fried noodles has really really great taste. It went well with the spices. .the fried noodles has nice texture .the fried noodles has a lot of toppings. And it was so yummy! The beef slices were yummy, well seasoned, tender and it has sunny side up egg too!

To sum up everything, the fried noodles is more affordable than the soup noodles. The portion was big enough. At the end, we couldn't finish the soup noodles, cause after eating the fried one, sorry to say, we didn't want to destroy our appetite.

I'm looking forward to seeing any improvement for the Mie Aceh Rebus Telor one. I don't know if the usual taste was like that or it was just my bad luck that evening and only in this branch. Even if it was so, there was still an inconsistency that should be fixed.

One of my frequently visited restaurant in Malang during my college life. The place is located around Lowokwaru and accessible. There is limited parking area but you could ask the parking man to help you park. The food taste is good for sure, as it’s named it provides various Melayu Food and there are plenty choices of foods and beverages. What are always in my list to order: Nasi Goreng Rendang, Nasi Goreng Tuna, Teh Tarik (Hot/Iced; both are really good), Roti Mariam, and Roti Bakar Srikaya. In my opinion the taste of the foods I mentioned above never changed since like 5 years ago even when I pay a visit after one year leaving Malang it still taste the same. The place is nice and comfy. I ordered nasi goreng remdang, laksa, and roti durian. The nasi goreng rendang is a bit spicy, but it tastes great. The laksa just so so.
