Sebrang Hill Bungalow — Hotel in Nusa Penida Subdistrict

Location and scenery are exactly the same as mentioned in pictures. But that's not the only thing you can survive with.

Room Issues: Air Conditioning is something you need for sure, but the Air Conditioner position is very bad, No cooling in the room as roof is made of hut material so rooms never get cool, I literally had to use blanket as mattress and sleep on floor in front of AC. Might be the issue is smaller capacity AC is used in a bigger room. Water not coming properly in the taps, owner claims sand gets stuck, but this should be cleaned before check-in as pre-requisite. Bathrooms have a weird odour. No soap, shampoo/shower gel is provided. Literally saw a cockroach inside before going to bed it was gross.

Only things that were good: The owner was very nice, and tried to help whenever we complained, but seriously rooms need proper maintenance. The scenery is exactly the same as mentioned in the pictures.

All the way up the hill, there are some beautiful bungalows run by a super friendly staff. As you need a scooter on Nusa penida to get around they provide the opportunity to rent one. Don't feeling safe on a scooter? No problem, they arrange a private car with guide for the day. Perfect service!

You reach the bungalows on a 15min scooter drive from the main road and you will find a very clean and spacy room, comfy beds and natural silence (besides the annoying roosters everywhere in Bali) :). We stayed at Sebrang Hill Bungalows for 1 week and absolutely loved it ! Our host Ketut and his wife were lovely, they assisted us with everything we needed. They even lent us some clothes so we could attend a celebration in a temple. The localization is great if you want to explore the island. The room is spacious and clean. The wifi is good and they cleaned our room every single day. We used their kitchen every night to prepare some noodles. Ketut helped us with renting a scooter, booking activities and finding information for the places we wanted to visit. He even prepared an detailled itinerary for us when we arrived.
