Capital O 1430 Hotel Ratna Syariah — Hotel in Probolinggo

I found this hotel on travel website. The picture shows clean, new and no smell rooms. They price super good. I booked standart twin room. ||||BUT...||||We, mom and I, arrived around 1am. Unfortunately the hotel is under renovation. The lobby was as dark as my room with small light in the reception. There was 2 men there. One helped for registration and the other shows me to my room. ||||My room in the 3rd floor. No lift. Everywhere so dusty. Old white sheets and old blanket, aircon sounds like tiny train. Mom didn't happy at all. ||||She wanted upgrade. We ended up stay in Suite Twin room. We had springbed instead of Idk what it's called in the previous room. Still, the sheets got old white color, the room so stuffy like hundred days without air and sun. The aircon pretty new. No sound. You need to request if you want towels, even if they're free. No soap or shampoo, no tissue. No key card, it's just brass key. ||||Standart room doesn't include breakfast. Suite yes. Around 6.30am the staff knocked to tell us we can have breakfast until 8am. We stayed at Hotel|Ratna two days. When we came the staff was very friendly and helped with our luggage. We went to the room and it was not clean, but we didn't say anything because we had experienced that a lot in Indonesia. We went to ask about the breakfast and it was from 6.30-8.30 they just wanted to know when we wanted our breakfast, we said 8 o clock. We woke up and the breakfast wasn't there at 8.20. I went down to the reception and stood and waited. Three of the staff came and they were just standing and laughing at me. I asked about the breakfast. They didn't know what we wanted to eat for breakfast. Why didn't they ask me that yesterday? Well I told them what we wanted, said thank you and after 20 mins breakfast was served. After breakfast I went down to tell them what I wanted for breakfast the day after. But it was the same problem the day after. |They are not very organized all though that we could count to 10-12 people who worked at the hotel. We didn't see any others guests in the hotel. |Wi-fi is only om the reception and two times I saw a rat while I was sitting down there. I never complain about hotels, but this hotel is not good. I stop by to stay one night at Hotel Ratna on my way back to Nusa Dua - Bali and I was quite impress with overall transit experience. It was down pour raining throughout my way from Surabaya the climate is bit cold hence I decided to take Non-AC room at IDR 137.500net (incl. breakfast for two, ceiling fan, TV, shower bath room and comp. mineral water on arrival). The room is spacious for two of us, it's 25m2. The porter is taking us to the room. Breakfast is just excellent, we served Soto Ayam Probolinggo and cup of hot tea served in the room. The taste of Soto Ayam just a right taste where I usually had, the stock of the soup were flavorful, the steam rice were really full flavor it's call "Pulen". The staffs are amazingly polite and smile at you all times. The parking lot is free and park your car right in front of the room. I am able to wash my car at 7am. I wouldn't ask for more into this hotel. It was just what I am looking for for a short period of transit. The price what I pay was worth...
