Anantara Ubud Bali Resort — Hotel in Pulau Bali

FYI:I book the Payangan suite and get an upgrade to One bedroom villa.GHA titanium. Location If you're looking to experience Ubud's activities rather than its local daily life, the location is quite convenient. It takes about 50 minutes to reach Ubud Center, and the hotel offers a complimentary four-seater car shuttle. Most ATV camps are around 40 minutes away, and Mount Batur is approximately 30 minutes.

External Environment There's virtually no external environment to speak of. As an Ubud rainforest hotel, the rainforest view felt more noisy and chaotic than serene. I believe some tree trimming or organization is needed.

Public Areas The cliffside area was quite pleasant and suitable for watching a sunset on a clear day. The musical installation in the lobby was interesting, as was the pointed cantilever design. Unfortunately, some facilities were still undergoing renovation.

Room Amenities The room amenities were incredibly disappointing. For a hotel that opened in 2024, I can understand a philosophical choice not to use smart toilets, but the toilet flush button was broken, the vanity mirror was loose, the bathroom handle was loose, the fan couldn't be controlled remotely, and the nightstand couldn't even charge devices (OMG, is this 2025?!). The room size for the price wasn't impressive either; it felt a bit cramped upon entering.

Service The service truly salvaged my impression of this hotel. The in-room minibar was very well-stocked and completely free. The honeymoon amenities included white wine, cake, and desserts. Nova, the shuttle driver, was very humorous, and Febby was incredibly responsible, giving us handwritten cards at check-in and check-out. Plus, there was a mascot on our bed every day. My only regret was not being able to book a spa appointment.

Breakfast I usually don't highlight breakfast separately, but for a hotel in this price range, it was quite mediocre. The food options were very limited, and we frequently saw flying insects. However, the hot food from the noodle station was good and worth trying.

Our recent stay at Anantara Ubud Bali was nothing short of magical, and it has left us with memories we will cherish forever. A Perfect Stay at Anantara Ubud

We recently spent three nights at Anantara Ubud, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The hotel is located in a breathtaking setting, surrounded by stunning natural beauty. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations.

The property is very new and absolutely spotless. Every detail has been carefully thought out, and the cleanliness was impeccable throughout our stay. Our room was beautifully designed, extremely comfortable, and offered a gorgeous view.

What truly stood out was the service. Every member of the staff was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and professional. Their warm hospitality made us feel right at home and added a personal touch to our stay.

Mr.Yuda was a great support to explore Ubud and Bali Culture.

I would especially like to mention Ms.Yuli, the lovely lady who welcomed us and escorted us to our room. She was warm, friendly, and made us feel right at home from the very beginning.

We also had the pleasure of speaking with Enrico, the assistant manager, about the sun beds. He was very friendly, helpful, and professional—another great example of the high level of service the hotel provides.,

The food was outstanding—each meal was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. There was a great variety of both local dishes and international cuisine, and everything we tried was full of flavor.
