Hotel Mandari — Hotel in Pulau Bali

I've booked 2 superior rooms here on 30th-31st Dec 2019 using Traveloka. My reservation was confirmed. I arrived at the hotel at 31st Dec 2019 at 3AM and they said the superior room are full only standard rooms are available. I accept the standard rooms bcs it was 3AM and I wanted to rest a.s.a.p. The receptionist didn't allow me to check-in bcs according to him the reservation was not confirmed and there were no data on his system. I called traveloka and said my booking is confirmed and traveloka will take contact the hotel to let me check in. After checked out, I found out my mother left her watch in the hotel. The hotel confirmed that they found the watch and promised to send it to Denpasar the next day. After waiting for 4 days we still didn't received the watch then we contacted the hotel again, then Bapak Kadek one of the hotel management said that they will keep my mom's watch because traveloka has not paid the bill to his hotel. I paid to traveloka already, and i don't see the connection why he has to keep my mom's watch bcs there were some internal problem with his system and traveloka. It is not that we can't afford to buy another watch. We just didn't see any good will from this hotel to serve the guest well. Of course I will not recommend this hotel nor come back here.||||Date of stay:...

This hotel is cheap with a cheap service. Usually when you want to adress a complaint, you will ask to speak to the manager. However in this cheap hotel, even if you speak to the manager, you will get an even worse reaction. Your complaint will not be solved. This man, the decision maker, his name is Kadek, will be so defensive against your complaint, and his word can not be trusted. Even if he said he will return our belongings. In the end he still keep our belonging and refused to send our things back to us.

What a terrible way to...

If your safety and also your belongings safety is your concern, please don't stay here.||||I tried to excalate this case to their superior, his name is Kadek, and his response is even worse then his staff. At the end I lost one of my belonging here, and I really don't want ti hve anything else to do with this hotel as I found out even their manager is so devensive and not helpfull.||||I would suggest that you should try your best to find another safer hotel...
