Booked for 4 nights. They have several villas but only one is taking short term clients at present. |We had a new, beautiful 2 bedroom villa with a private pool. Villa is exceptionally built with high roofs and wooden ceilings. Walls are wooden too and beams are supported by large wooden columns. Large comfy beds, clean bathroom with bath tub, outdoor shower, safe, linen cupboard were always useful. ||Small private pool and a private kitchenette (Gas stove top included)were available to us. ||Breakfast was simple but good. It is a choice between American bf (eggs+ toast+ fruit juice/fresh fruits) or Pancake+fruit juice/fresh fruits. I wish they change the menu daily to have more variety. ||We ordered dinner too on 3 nights :quite tasty.||Somewhat far from Ubud centre so we had to rely on a hire car+ driver. Villa found us a very nice driver (Name: I Wayan Seraya - can be contacted by WhatsApp +62816579334) who drove us for sightseeing over the 4 days. Please use his services if you are staying in Ubud.||In addition to all the plus points, You really do not have to set an alarm or arrange wake up calls.....the neighbourhood roosters will make sure that you are awake by...
Read moreHad a very nice three night stay at Meng Bengil Villa as a group of 4 student travelers.||||The accommodating staff was probably the villa’s best feature. They are aways happy to call you a cab or help plan out your itinerary. The reservation included a complimentary daily taxi ride to and from downtown Ubud (about 12-15 minutes away). Linens and towels were changed daily, and the facilities were very clean in general. ||||The villa itself has a pleasant outdoor covered dining area/lounge. The indoor bedrooms have working A/C units, and the beds are comfortable. We didn’t use the pool much, since Bali pools often feature small bug/gnat type things that nip at swimmers.||||Negatives:||The complimentary breakfast is nothing to write home about. WiFi was functional, but don’t expect to stream any HD videos.||||Overall, tremendous value for the price! Added bonus: the villa’s name has a very funny...
Read moreI’ve recently stayed here for a few days and everything was good. The owner and staff were friendly and attentive, the room and pool were clean as well. Location was quiet and it’s right next to the rice fields, you will be able to see some local farmers working in the fields during the day, it’s ideal for people who want to getaway from the busy and crowded city life. They also have a restaurant with limited food options but the cooking was quite good considering the location was remote. The only set back was it’s far from everywhere so not so much of public transport or grab cars available in the area. But the hotel offers bike rental services with reasonable charges, so it won’t be much issue for those who’s considering to commute via bike / scooters. These small bikes were quite easy to handle, it takes approximately 15-20mins ride on slow to average speed to get to Ubud...
