Sebatu Paradise Villa — Hotel in Pulau Bali

I planned to stay in Sebatu Paradise villa just one night, but couldn't resist extending it for another 3 nights. It was indeed paradise for me, the jungle views, infinity pool, the rooms are clean and the staff is super nice and helpful. And all that at a reasonable price for the luxury feel. I came as a solo traveler, and the staff helped me take photos and made my stay more memorable ;) The area is quiet, and has a real spirit of Bali culture. There are several waterfalls and best rice terrace view a few kilometers away, Alas Harum which I highly recommend visiting. And a restaurant with the best food and view, is 2.5 km away called Wana Ayu. The staff provided bike rent service, or drop off and pick up service to attractions or restaurants, in case you are like me not ready to ride a bike independently. What an incredible haven! If you're looking to escape the noisy traffic and crowds, this is the perfect place for you! All you can hear are the sounds of nature, except you don't even get the usual Indonesian roosters crowing non-stop, what a blessing!

Family owned and run, Made and his sons are incredibly helpful, caring and ready to support with whatever you need. The view is mind-blowing and the bed is the comfiest bed ever! I love the high attention of detail put into these villas. The rooms are decorated beautifully with Balinese furniture and the villas are so gorgeous and clean yet simple. The breakfasts are so yummy and satisfying that I ended up having many dinners and lunches here too!

Beautiful rooms and stunning views. These villas are situated in Sebatu, approx 30 minutes from the centre of Ubud. It’s great if you don’t want to be in the busy centre as it’s not far to travel by scooter. If you stay here I would highly recommend getting a scooter to travel around. There are some beautiful waterfalls near by, but would be difficult if you didn’t have transport. Lovely pool, great service. Very friendly! Breakfast can be brought to your room and is very tasty. We didn’t eat here for dinner or lunch but they have a small menu to chose from.

The only negative about the location is there are not many options to eat out close by, we ate at a couple of resorts around 20 min scooter drive away in the evenings but if you are out for the day, it may be best to eat then rather than locally.
