Qub Rooms by Tamara Wibowo Architects — Hotel in Semarang

We stay in here for around 3 days, we arrive late around 1 am and could check in easily (ps.we need to leave a valid Id card during our stay). The room comfortable enough, we choose deluxe room, so we got a room with a window. The hot water in the shower works perfectly. Wifi provided by the accomodation, and works perfectly, i use the wifi to zoom meeting with my team with no difficulties. Breakfast not really our things, so we might choose room only in our next visit. They don't have an elevator so be prepare to use the stairs (not a problem for us). The staff friendly enough, and we could extend our stay into late check out (they charge 50% for late check out until 6 pm). It was amazing! It was beyond my expectation. Besides being in the middle of Semarang city, this hotel has an aesthetic interior design and offers maximum comfort. Although this hotel doesn't have an elevator yet (you have to take stairs), but it's not a problem for me. The room is quite spacious and the bathroom is very clean. One thing that amazed me about this hotel compared to other hotels with similar prices, the TV used was a Smart TV, and for me that was a big thing. It's rare for hotels of similar prices to use Smart TVs. Cool! The parking lot is very wide (because the parking lot is one with other shop houses). Tampak dari depan cukup unik. Masuk ke dalam, ternyata crew hotelnya cuma 1 : melayani cek in dan cek out saja. Utk ukuran penginapan 4 lantai, tanpa lift terasa cukup melelahkan. Naik turun bawa tas harus benar² dengan "perencanaan matang" Ditambah lagi tangga utama, dan memang cuma tangga satu-satunya menggunakan material besi perforated, alias bolong². Sehingga akan berasa risih utk lalu lalang diatasnya, apalagi bagi perempuan. Satu lagi : tangga sebagai satu-satunya akses vertikal ini bisa jadi masalah dalam keadaan darurat. Saran utk yg memiliki sindrom claustrophobic/trauma ruang sempit, better cari opsi penginapan lain. Karena hanya kamar yg di bagian depan bangunan saja yg memiliki jendela/pemandangan keluar. Sisanya cukup diberikan jendela diatas ketinggian kepala. Sebagian kamar mandi masih ada kelengkapan sabun, sementara yg lain sudah rusak dispenser-nya.

Utk kasurnya, lumayan empuk. AC berasa dingin. Kamar mandi ada air panas. Tetapi lantai nya masih terasa sedikit licin Kamar tidur, cukup bersih, walaupun ada di bbrp bagian terlihat cat nya mulai mengelupas.
