Novotel Bogor Golf Resort and Convention Center — Hotel in Sukaraja

we stayed for two nights at the deluxe room with bath tub, we were amazed by the pictures on the net how it looked spacious clean and luxurious. but i was a little disappointed by how gloomy and humid it was. the semi outdoor concept of the bathtub is not like what i’ve had before with other hotels. it was a little dusty when we get there, the surface of the bathup was already chipped off here and there. and it took very long for the hot water to come out. found some dead insects too inside so i spared some time to actually clean the tube before using it 🤣🤣🤣 i dont know about the safety and the privacy with our balcony, because when i was in the tub i can see a cleaning service guy walking and sweeping outside our room, and i was a little worried but thank God my husband is outside being a lookout, but i thought it was so unnecessary. on our second night, we were heading out for our occasion and called the operator to have the housekeeping tidy our room by the time we get back. we called around 16.00 and get back at around 20.00 and room was still unclean and untidy just like how we left it. we called back the operator and the girl wasn’t aware about the situation and asked about the time we called before, turns out the housekeeper came and showed us their checklist book and showed that they already checked our room as cleaned, so i dont know who to blame 🤣🤣 so we waited outside for the housekeepers to clean our room. what a way to end our tiring night 😭😭😭 the breakfast was okay, there’s a lot of variety but i guess there was a little miscommunication with the front office. when we checked in, we were offered to open our tab by cash and pay at the check out. but when we got to the restaurant we were told to pay up front. we explained the condition as we didnt bring our belongings at breakfast, but the restaurant cashier said that the current FO said that i should pay at the restaurant, and she handed me the phone to talk to the FO by myself (😅) i refused to talk as i was OFFERED to open the tab when i get in, and we eventually paid it by the time we checked out with no problem. During my stay at the Novotel Bogor Golf Resort and Convention Center, me and my family had an unforgettable time filled with warmth, relaxation, and fun activities.

As soon as I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and welcoming staff. The spacious and beautifully designed room gave me and my family a comfortable and cozy feeling that instantly made me feel like in Yogyakarta.

One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious food that me and my family enjoyed at the hotel's restaurant. From the mouth-watering Indonesian cuisine to the scrumptious international dishes, the variety of flavors and the quality of the ingredients were exceptional. My family especially loved the breakfast buffet that offered an extensive range of options, from fresh fruits and juices to pastries and hot dishes.

The facilities at the resort were another highlight of my stay. The swimming pool was the perfect spot to cool down on hot days, and the gym allowed me to keep up with my fitness routine. My kids loved the playground area, where they spent hours playing on the flying fox and trying their hand at archery. The resort's beautiful greenery and also provided a peaceful and serene ambiance, perfect for a family walk or bike ride.

We stayed at Novotel Bogor for 1 night (26–27 October 2025) to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and our overall experience was amazing!

From we checked in, we were impressed by how friendly and welcoming everyone was. Mr. Arif, who assisted us during check-in around 2 PM, was exceptionally kind, informative, and helpful. He took the time to explain about the hotel facilities and even helped us book the tennis court for the next morning and inform us about the free photo session with photographer, excellent!

We stayed in a Deluxe Room with a bathtub, and although the room is a bit old, it’s still very nice and comfortable. I love how spacious it is!. The shower room and toilet are separated (which I personally think is great), and the bathtub is huge and relaxing, though the hot water in the bathtub wasn’t as warm as the one in shower.

The hotel itself is beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by greenery, plants, and big trees which a rare and refreshing sight for those escaping the busy life of Jakarta.

I’d also like to thank the staff at the pool and tennis court who helped us on 27 October 2025. He was very friendly and helpful, helped prepared the court, rackets and balls for us. The tennis court might be old, but we still had so much fun playing there!
