RedDoorz Syariah @ RPCC Rantauprapat — Hotel in Sumatra

This hotel is the worst hotel I have ever booked so far. We booked 3 rooms, and got check in late around 11 pm due to the traffic jam. There is no sign where the receptionist is. It was small table outside, the building (the terrace). Got room 104 where the aircon was cold but the toilet flush took so long to fill in the water for flushing, the door was ok, the bathroom was in better size compared to the other rooms, the shower gel and shampoo bottle have label. The water waste after shower got stuck on the floor. Room 103 the aircon is not cold at all, we asked to get the better aircon, the owner thought we asked the aircon to be serviced, we told him we asked for better room or at least he could upgrade it since it’s not our fault. He was not happy but he gave us deluxe room 202 (second floor using stairs) but the aircon was not better than 103, we ended up choosing back to 103 instead. The 103 door can’t be closed without being locked. And 202 door, need to be rotated anticlockwise in order to open from inside. The room 203, the aircon is ok and toilet is ok too, but the door lock is very hard and the bathroom was smelly. The shampoo and shower gel bottle doesn’t have label, so you have to guess which one shampoo or shower gel. Wondering how come each room has different standard of shower gel and shampoo. There is no sink in the bathroom. The towel doesn’t absorb water properly. Doesn’t provide toothbrush, toothpaste and sandal (I understand it’s not necessary) if compared with other reddoorz hotel. Not allowed to take sandal in, but the floor was very dusty, at least provide sandal.

I stayed here overnight with a colleague (we booked 2 rooms, of course). At night, we just sat and relaxed, reviewing work on our laptops. The next morning, hotel staff knocked on our room door LITERALLY PER ROOM and accused us of sharing one room for 2. At least they should have checked the CCTV before knocking on the guest’s door.

the AC wasn’t cold, the door was hard to open, the TV worstt, and there were a lot of mosquitoes.😭 Tempat sampah juga belum dibuang dari sisa guest sebelumnya. Tissu gak di refill.

I couldn’t sleep at night because of many mosquitoes and the old noisy AC fan. And in morning, hotel staff knocked and accused us of sharing a room. 🙂

Sakit hati sih, gamau maafin sebelum penjaga nya minta...

Baguss, staff ramah menyambut. Point terbesar mereka kebersihan! Bersih banget di setiap sudut. ini penting. yg lainnya fasilitas sesuai harga. parkir mudah. jangan lupa kalau bisa kita cek ruangan dulu periksa satu2 fasilitas apakah berfungsi baik. baru tentukan ruangan. karena pengalaman saya begitu ada fasilitas kamar yg wajib berfungsi di satu kamar lalu kami pilih kamar itu. overall bagus. air lancar, ac dingin. ya ga begitu jauh dari jalan utama kalau mau jajan2 (tapi pakai...
