The hotel states that it is a 5 star hotel, but definitely it not anywhere near 5 stars by international standards. Perhaps 5 stars in Iraq, but at most, I would give it 3 stars. The rooms are dated and not really that attractive. Definitely needs some attention to decor in the rooms.

Security is present on the perimeter, but not in the actual hotel compound. Elevators are not access control and stairs to each floor are freely accessible by anyone.

No room location is a win-win, in fact all lose-lose for sound. Loud music and bands and bingo until 11:00pm, so do not plan to get sleep before midnight.

Location is good, easy access to and from the airport. Not a bad drive to the green zone or other points. Traffic is a nightmare, but this is not the hotels fault. Located next to several good restaurant choices outside the hotel within...

Great hotel . Best location in Baghdad with European vibes. The hotel is attached to their club with beautiful gardens and regular night activities. All kind of nice cuisines are served including the best fish Iraqi dish (Masgouf). It’s very clean too with great service.. Special thanks to Shamo at the reception with his friendly ,smiling face…very helpful..though I found all on reception desk are great and helpful.. Iraqi people in general are genuine and lovely kind of nation..and no doubt my next stay will be at Alyarmouk international hotel.. Thank you Alyarmouk international hotel..
