Stayed 2 nights at USD $76 per night including breakfast. Modern and comfortable hotel. Single Room was spacious with comfortable double bed, TV, spacious bathroom and air conditioning. Desk and chair and seat with small table. WIFI worked perfectly in room. Breakfast was OK and available to 10.30am. Provided a late check out of 1.30pm which was appreciated. Seating available in Lobby or restaurant / terrace area. Highly recommend the chicken fajitas and the coffee was pretty good too. Very efficient and helpful attentive staff. Bring cash because I have a feeling the credit card facility may not work more times than not and also handy to have smaller USD notes so you don't get left with a bundle of Dinar. Citadel was 4000 Dinar in a taxi. Airport taxis ask USD $35 but I managed to get one from the "Meet and Greet" area for USD $25 - hop on the shuttle bus outside arrivals and it takes you to the checkpoint a 3 minute drive away. Hotel arranged a taxi for 10,000 on the return trip. The ATM in the baggage area worked for my Visa card. A very good...
Read moreMy cousin and I stumbled upon this hotel on a short business trip in Erbil. Read moreAt first glance, the hotel looks nice, both inside and out. The design, furniture and room decor all look pretty. But when you look closer, the whole place is very dirty and poorly maintained. I was very confused at first, as it seemed like someone had built a nice-looking hotel, spent a lot of money on finishings, and then decided to abandon the project! Although the staff was nice, they were unprofessional. The receptionist seemed like he'd never worked in hotel service in his life. He didn't even know what standard check-in procedure was! Electricity kept going on and off, the bed sheets and pillows were stained, and the bathroom smelt awful. Don't be fooled by the looks of this hotel....
