So, right from the beginning something felt off. My husband and arrived after dark and there was no lighting at the entrance and we thought we went in a wrong gate. Very few cars. We popped our heads in to verify we were at the right place and on the front door was a printed sign “sorry we are only accepting residents at this time”. Again confused us. Reception was very friendly and welcoming. We took our bags to the room and along the way was like it had been closed for the season, renovating and just opened when they weren’t really ready. Rolls of new carpet in the hall, empty vending machine, and the dumpster out back was overflowing with old carpets. We were tired and hungry so we went back up to get food in the lobby restaurant/bar. The front desk person was also pouring wine and involved with the food service. Again staff very friendly. Back at the room the carpets were new, new sitting chair and bathroom renovated but no accent pillows or pictures. It was dark so you couldn’t see into the courtyard. Very quiet except for someone coughing some in next room. No one in the halls. The continental breakfast was surprisingly busy. We observed families with children on scooters getting ready for their school day, clearing their own dishes etc. Through the windows across the courtyard I had commented that it looked like people lived in the upper floors. We stayed as planned the second night and heard the same coughing next door. We did not go to breakfast the next day. Again staff very friendly but the whole thing just felt off. Bad, confusing or just mis represented? I would not stay...

Wife and I stayed here in July 2024. Having booked online we were eagerly awaiting our stay here, based on the photos of the hotel on the website and the way it was advertised. Sadly when we arrived we were disappointed. The hotel is badly in need of a bit of maintenance and TLC. The room looked a bit dated and in our bathroom there was mould on the walls, a broken floor tile and a non-working extractor fan which meant the bathroom constantly had a damp and musty feel to it. The hotel was also a bit too far out of town for our liking - not saying that we wanted to be right in the centre of a built up area, but if we hadn’t had the car with us we’d have been a bit stuck.

In fairness it wasn’t all bad. The staff were extremely apologetic about the fact that we weren’t happy with our stay. When we raised the issues we’d been having the young man at the reception agreed to give us a complimentary breakfast on the Sunday morning by way of compensation. This breakfast turned out to be excellent quality - there was a good selection available and the hot food was fresh and tasty, unliked the overcooked rubbish we’ve had in some other hotels. We were also surprised to come back to the room on our second evening and discover that the general manager had authorised a gift of a bottle of wine and some pastries to be left in our room as an apology.

If the management put as much effort into maintaining the hotel as they clearly put into training their staff I think it would be a much nicer place to stay. It was just a bit...

Checking in at Reception was efficient and friendly.|We had a large bedroom with a king-size double bed||The bathroom was smallish with a bath. Unfortunately there was no bath plug making the bath pretty useless.|Our bedroom had a Television + Hairdryer +Tea/ Coffee + Room Safe + Iron + Ironing Board. There was small wardrobe with limited hanging space.|The was a good size dressing table with mirror which doubled up as a desk.|Table and room lounge chairs.||Light in bathroom flashing off and on intermittently which was annoying.|It is impossible to plug in bed side light. The electrical socket is partially obscured by the headboard.|The main Bedroom light was randomly changing from bright to dim. It was a nightmare and could not be used.|Lighting in this room(508) is a real issue and did spoil our time in what otherwise was a good hotel.|The Housekeeper/ Chambermaid should have reported the faults to management or perhaps the hotel does not have a working arrangement to check that all systems work properly. Either way it was pretty poor show.||Evening Meal menu limited and took time to be served but worth the wait because the meals were all freshly cooked. The helpings were large too much for me to eat. Food was well cooked and pleasantly presented. Cost of meals was average and not too expensive, The meals represented good value.||Breakfast was buffet style with hot and cold dishes Food items cooked perfectly |Overall the staff were Staff were friendly..|Plenty of off...

The Hotel is just outside of Bray with the Industrial Estate and a few Shops in walking distance. Plenty free parking lots in front of the building. Check-in was quick and friendly. My Room (#400) is on the Ground Floor facing the inner Courtyard (not a pleasant view) . Room is spacious, clean, quiet, has a flat TV with over 40 channels, a renovated bathroom, comfortable large bed, desk and tea&coffee facility. Overall a good 3 Star Hotel but some areas would need a bit of fresh paint, carpet cleaning or furniture replacement. The scenic Bray Head Loop Walk starts right next to the Hotel.

Well.... As it happens... Checked in tennish last night... Booked an alarm call for 0530hh... Went to room... Used the four poxy milks they insist on using.... So... Zedzz... Alarm call on time.. No issue but says I can you pop up a wee jug of milk.... Sure says he... A €5r for room service.... My point... I have a breakfast paid for which I cannot avail of as I'm out b4 six am..... I would have thought a jug of ph#&kin milk would be the least you could do..... Otherwise fairly generic hotel.... Functional but OK.. Havin said that... That really irked me. 👹

The accommodation provides all the necessary amenities for comfort and safety. Situated amidst natural surroundings and nearby the beach, it would be advantageous to offer an on-site restaurant service, considering the limited options within walking distance. The WiFi connectivity is unreliable and its speed is subpar. The addition of a surrounding walking trail would enhance the hotel's amenities significantly.
