Travel Hotel Gesher Haziv — Hotel in Mate Asher Regional Council

Where do I start? Rooms are tiny and smelly, the facility is falling apart everywhere. The family room basically means instead of a workdesk there is a kids bed. No space to even open your luggage and no storage space. The toiletry in the bathroom is of one you may expect in a public restroom- not a good feeling.||Can't stand in the kitchenette when either bathroom or main door is open. Breakfast is miserable and smelly. You cannot get the sense of smell from the photos. People are sitting outside due to the stuffy smell.||Beds are small and uncomfortable. On top of that there are electrical problems in the facility so power outage alarms go off in the middle of the night and wakes everybody up. On top of that their prices in the high season (July) were outrageous. When we asked them about it, they said "people pay it, so why not?" - seriously??||I truly can't see how somebody review this as more than 2 stars, have we stayed in the same place? do yourself a favor and stay across the highway on the beach, or in Natanya which is at least cheaper and walking distance from shops & restaurants.||Just as a last comment, this should not reflect on the nice people of Gesher HaZiv and their pool, but please upgrade this facility or shut it...

We went for a summer vacation with the family in July. We ordered 3 rooms. I think the pictures will say it all. One if the worst experiences we had! And they charged us 6000 shekels for 3 nights for 3 rooms!!!|The place is neglected and they have the odassoty to say all is OK and we should focus on the touristic sites and not the rooms. They where totally un interested with this pictures and from their end there is nothing wrong they are proud of their standards. Only after we made a fuss about it they sent maintenance to try and "fix" a bit the damaged (which they thought was ok) and gave us an insignificant discount.|The showers in the 3 rooms smelled of sewage and the rooms were damp. When the guy from maintenance came to unblock the sewage he was disguisted by the ammount if month all was blocked and full of hair.|All looks very nice in the promo (picturs that were taken years ago) the keeping of the place is shamfull! DO NOT RECOMMENT AT ALL!!! Save you money for better and...

They don't clean the room unless you are staying more than 2 nights. Reception isn't open 24 hours (on Saturdays they only work 2 hours! Every other day they work 8 hours and very hard to get on the phone). Rooms are small, especially if you are traveling with kids.

We also had an electricity issue which wasn't fixed even when we were away for part of the day and no sorry or compensation was offered. Post-visit correspondence with the manager didn't even get a response.

It's a shame since the place itself if very nice and the area around full with attractions and places to visit.

Will not come back.
