Hotel Langeshof — Hotel in Überetsch-Unterland - Oltradige-Bassa Atesina

Hotel Langeshof was easy to find, in spite of it's out-of-the-way location, and the undercover parking for bikes was great. The welcome was good, but maybe a little lengthy, as we were hot and tired and just wanted to get to our room - it's lovely to be given all the information about an area, but not entirely necessary if you are only staying for one night. Oddly, we weren't actually told anything about the bar, or the swimming pool, or the communal guest areas, but we found our way around anyway. The room was big, clean and airy, with a nice balcony and plenty of room for all our gear - the complimentary apples, chocolates and water were a nice touch too. There was no wifi in the room, but it's fine in the bar and dining room. Dinner was good, and very busy, so the service was patchy. The bed was comfortable, we slept well and didn't hear any noise from the bar or the other guests. Breakfast was tasty and varied, but also very busy and very noisy, which is, I guess, the downside to staying in a hotel with groups of excited bikers and a host who likes to talk with everyone. Adele and Benedikt were helpful, but we didn't really feel like we fitted in. We had a pleasant enough stay, and the Langeshof definitely offer great facilities for groups of bikers, so I would recommend it if you are looking for guided tours or a base for your own tour, but maybe not if you're just passing through. I would rate this hotel as 'good', but tripadvisor don't give that option so I rounded my opinion up to 'very good', as the hotel Langeshof is definitely better...

Nach langer Überlegung habe ich mich jetzt doch entschlossen, eine Bewertung zum Langeshof abzugeben. Dazu gibt es zwei Beweggründe, einmal Gespräche mit anderen enttäuschten Hotelgästen die auch nicht zufrieden waren, und der Vergleich mit anderen MoHo Hotels.

Zu erst einmal zum Positiven: die Lage des Hotels ist wunderschön und absolut ruhig Das Hotel ist super sauber Das Frühstück ist ok, Rührei wird frisch zubereitet Das Abendessen würde ich als gut aber nicht überragend bezeichnen (aber das ist bekanntlich auch Geschmackssache) Personal (überwiegend Sohn, Mutter, anderes Personal) sind sehr nett, freundlich und hilfsbereit.....Die Chefin Adele..... wie hat es jemand in seiner Rezension bezeichnet, ist "Gewöhnungsbedürftig" -Für Motorradfahrer ein toller Startpunkt für Touren Schöne Außenanlagen/ Garten

Nun zum Negativen, als Grundlage dient ein Vergleich vom MoHo Hotel Lederer, Mühlbach am Hochkönig (selbst besucht) und ein Angebot des Moho Hotels Monte Giner, Mezzana.

Beide Hotels sind preislich ähnlich oder sogar um einiges günstiger, die Ausstattung ist wesentlich besser und moderner. Für Motorradfahrer ist wesentlich mehr geboten ( z.B. Lederer hat für die Motorräder eine große, abschließbare Garage, mit Werkbank, Werkzeug, Kettenspray, Kettenreiniger, Visierspray, Dampfstrahler usw. usw. Das Essen beim Lederer ist eine Wucht und um Klassen besser, das Frühstück wesentlich umfangreicher, das Zeitfenster für Frühstück und Abendessen weit mehr als 30 Minuten.

Wenn ich mir den Wellnessbereich bei beiden vergleich Hotels anschaue, sind diese um Welten besser (Schöne, neue, geräumige Outdoorsauna mit Blick auf die Berge, beim Lederer), Wellnessbereich beim Monte Giner. Beim Langeshof, ist der Pool schon geschlossen (Anfang Oktober, er hat keine Heizung)....die Zeiten stehen angeblich im Internet...ich habe die Homepage vom Langeshof durchsucht aber nichts dazu gefunden, keine Ahnung wo diese Info versteckt ist (wir haben das Hotel über MoHo gefunden und explizit nach einem Hotel mit Sauna und Pool gesucht, und direkt beim Hotel gebucht).

Die Sauna befindet sich im Dachgeschoß in einem kleinen fensterlosen Raum. Mit hängen und würgen finden dort 2 Personen platz, diese sollten aber beweglich sein und gut klettern können! Derjenige der oben sitzt/liegt bekommt entweder gegrillte Füße oder einen gegrillten Kopf.

Fazit, im Vergleich mit anderen MoHo's gibt es wo anderes, günstigere und bessere Hotels, mit besserem Preis - Leistung's Verhältnis.....wer auf 90's steht, keine Sauna mag, und im Hochsommer dort hinfährt (dann ist vermutlich der Pool nutzbar), und ein familiäres Umfeld sowie eine schöne ruhige Lage mag und dem ein gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis egal ist, ist auch beim Langeshof gut aufgehoben.

Wir werden wohl nicht...

This is a small hotel in the middle of nowhere,but a perfekt place for a bikers holiday. The town is in the middle of the Dolomite mountains, and is a perfect starting point for bikers. The breakfast is good and you have a choice between cheese, meat, cereals, egg, fruits, fruit juice and coffee.
