Il Vigneto di Nonno Pietro - Fraz.Pianillo — Hotel in Agerola

We had an amazing experience staying at the b&b of Ida and Pietro, if we are ever back in amalfi we know where we are staying. When reviewing a hotel I consider that the priority is: a good bed, a good bathroom, and a good location.

This place has that and more. The bedsheets are confortable and soft. The bathroom is brand new, decorated with hand made ceramics from the amalfi coast and the shower is like one of a spa, those that you don’t want to get out.

The location is above amalfi, in the middle of the coast with easy driving distances to amalfi, positano, minori, maiori, sorrento, salerno…. And you can even go to pompeii and napoli because there are one hour distance. Additionally, you have the own town of pianillo and agerola, two amazing towns full of great restaurants and stores where you can really immerse in the italian way of living. One more thing, if you like hiking “the path of the gods” is just a few minutes away. The only thing that you need to be aware IN ALL THE AMALFI COAST, is that try to get the smallest car because the roads are narrow and have a lot of turns.

This is definitely THE place to stay. Quite near to Amalfi, Revello, Positano and many other beautiful locations. Located just a few kms from the starting point of the world-renowned Sentiero degli Dei (Gods' trail) which after about 7 kms arrives in Positano.||But these aren't the main pros of this place: the owners Ida and Pietro are simply fantastic! You will be pampered from the moment of your arrival since your departure; their courtesy is sometimes unbelievable, and OhMyGod the breakfast: you have to restrain yourself or you simply won't be able to perform any activity during the day. ||Enjoy a perfectly brewed cappuccino with an extra-wide choice of cakes, pies, biscuits, yogurt, croissant, fresh made omelettes, various qualities of bread...everything's home made! ||And...you will be ready to visit the breathtaking Costiera Amalfitana (Amalfi's Coast); you don't have to worry for anything since Ida and Pietro will be there, that's a fact!||We use to travel quite a lot, but we have to admit that we NEVER found such a magical place...and such dedicated and enthusiastic...

Ida and Pietro are by far the most amazing hosts I’ve ever encountered. Their exceptional hospitality and genuine care made me feel completely at home and safe, especially since I was visiting the Amalfi Coast on my own.

Ida or Pietro would kindly drop me off at the bus stop each morning and pick me up after my day’s adventures, which made everything so much easier. When I return to the Amalfi Coast, I will absolutely stay here again—thanks to Ida and Pietro’s true Italian spirit and warmth. I’m incredibly grateful for their exceptional service, and I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to experience authentic Italian hospitality, food, and atmosphere.
