Factory Grill — Restaurant in Agerola

ALL the food was outstanding, really fantastic by my most critical standards. Service was excellent, I only dropped 1 star because they did not speak my language well, English. Really a petty thing as I beleive I should learn their language, when visiting other world places, but everything else was incredible cooked, spiced... I had the all meat dish and WOW, many varieties, all to perfection. That cook really is expert. ALSO, I have not been able to find Scungilli ANYWHERE and even get blank stares. I know they are a MEAT oriented place, but I just asked if they know where to get it. They were so wonderful, they told me come back tomorrow and they will have it for me "Pasts Scungilli DIavalo". Unfortunately, we are leaving the area tomorrow morning for a week in Bari, on the east coast of italy. Tipping seems very optional in Italy, but I HAD to leave them a tip for EXCELENCE. Wife had the ribeye, and that also was superb she thought. We could not even finish half of out meal. Potatoes were very tasty, not boring potatoes at all, salad was plain but these portions were to much to even share and finish also. Thank you Factory grill. Mark...

Scary hostile place to eat. They do things with your food out of spite.

1- the first dish they served, there was a veryyyy long dark hair in the food.

2- Then fries completely covered with a lottt of salt.

I like some extra salt sometimes in the food but those fries were extremely salted (on purpose) and the chicken sauce as well and it had  olives which made it even saltier.

3- Then charged me €4 for a glass bottle of water with filtered water in it (the bottle has their logo and had no cap/tappo).

they achieved their goal to make me want to never come back to Factory Grill restaurant....

... especially because there are...

We arrived at this cozy dining on our 2nd day, 11th June of a week long roadtrip through Italy and were greeted by an energetic reception.

If a bit difficult on the english, the presentation was delightful, the wine recommendation exsquisite and the tartar I had ordered was amazing, if heavier on me than the wine.

As a dining guest, I am happy. As an allergic, I am pleased by the service. As a traveller, we were stunned by the offer to be driven back home to the hotel by the staff.

If the honest side of me speaks freely, speaking common language in english around Italy is difficult, but no means a barrier...
