B&B Casa Azul — Hotel in Alcamo

I had the pleasure to stay at B&B Casa Azul with my boyfriend for a couple of days in September and I had a wonderful time. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable with a really pleasant private outdoor space. The highlight were the two hosts, Daniela and Alessandro, who made our stay unforgettable. They were always available to answer all our questions before our arrival and they welcomed us with a nice glass of wine on the terrace for our late check-in after our long journey! They also provided many tips on what to see and do to make to most of our time in Sicily and I recommend checking with Alessandro for some days out on his sailing boat. I couldn’t recommend this more especially for the amazing breakfast that we had everyday on the terrace overlooking the sea and the delicious food that Daniela prepares for her guests! Do not miss her delicious cakes and pane cunzato ;)! |I highly recommend this place and I’d definitely stay here again if I come back...

It is very nice B&B, locatated 5 minutes drive from nearest town. To start with it is not advisable to stay there without car/motorcycle. Aldough you can walk to the beach or even town but it will take a while especially with little ones, and that is the only thing which you need to consider. Other than that the place is super clean, well maintained, rooms are fully air conditioned, breakfast is fantastic, swimming pool is just right (and you can swim pretty much up to midnight, after 00:00 light automatically goes OFF). But the most important aspect of it is the people's who ran it! They are super nice, extremely helpful, smiling, friendly... Daniela is probably best host we ever had in 15 years! Oh and the boat trip organized by Daniela husband was best spend money ever...

We had a really lovely stay at Casa Azul, Danielle and her family were so welcoming and helpful. The breakfasts were so delicious with homemade apricot preserve from their own apricot trees! We also had a great trip on Alessandro’s yacht, which took us along the coast to the nature reserve and we swam off the boat and went into amazing hidden gems, caves with the most gorgeous turquoise water. Lunch was so tasty on the boat, just a lovely chilled day out, highly recommended!! You definitely need a car whilst staying here, but there were a couple of good restaurants nearby which could be reached on foot from the B&B. The view from our roof terrace was fantastic and the suite itself was very comfortable. We would definitely love to stay again!! Thanks again, Danielle...
