The pictures online do not do justice to how beautiful this masseria is. The building itself has been very well maintained keeping true to the old stones yet with all modern amenities. The rooms have lavender bushes outside the entrance, the beds are very comfortable and they even provided a super thick mattress for the baby cot. Breakfast is a delight - a spread of homemade jams, fruits from the farm, locally sourced yoghurt and cheese, freshly baked tarts and pastries and eggs to order. A huge bonus is they also serve dinner and every night we had an incredible meal - the pasta was better here than any of the restaurants we visited in puglia. The food was the highlight of our stay - 3 courses that you can choose from - a plethora of antipasti, true local pasta specialities like the lightest fluffiest gnocchi and gorgeous slow roasted tomatoes full of flavour and different regional dishes like fava beans and meat dishes. There's also a lovely pool and the masseria is close to beaches on both coasts. After days of busy touring all the towns of Puglia, this is the perfect place to come to relax and feed your soul. The owner, Maria, her parents and all the staff have made such warm and welcoming atmosphere and BioMasseria Santa Lucia is a gem of a place full of charm and beauty. I highly recommend...

We had an amazing stay at Bio Masseria Santa Lucia. The place is beautiful, surrounded by fruit trees, vegetable gardens, and olive trees, making it super calm and relaxing. The building itself is full of charm, a well-preserved historical spot that feels both authentic and comfortable.

We brought our dog, and she was very welcome, which made our trip even better.

The pool, set among the olive trees, was perfect for relaxing. Our room was spacious, minimal in design, and had a really comfy bed, which was just what we needed for a good night’s sleep.

One of the best things about the location is that it’s close to both the Mediterranean and Adriatic coasts. You can easily catch a sunrise and a sunset with just a 15-minute drive in either direction—an incredible experience!

Breakfast had a great variety, with homemade cakes, focaccia, and plenty of savory options. The restaurant was also really good, and many of the dishes were made with their own vegetables, which made everything taste fresh.

The staff and owners were incredibly welcoming and friendly. They made us feel right at home, and their kindness really stood out.

Overall, we had a super relaxing stay and can’t wait...

We've stayed for 5 days at the beautiful Masseria of Luciana, Santa Lucia and we really had some lovely days. The masseria is located a few minutes out from Alessano and because of that we've experienced a very nice and calm environment to recover from a stressful period at work. The most ideal place you want to be! The location looks very authentic and the meals were great and (mostly) fresh from own garden. We had the Pergola Classic room, which was quit big and very clean. Since a few years they also have a very nice swimming pool amids the old olive trees. What made our stay extra comfortable was the super pro-active help of Luciana. She helped us a lot with recommendations, but also we had some very pleasant conversations...

We recently visited this charming masseria, which is set in a beautiful location. The property has the feel of a small, cozy village, with its rooms and restaurant nestled together in a delightful, rustic atmosphere. We stopped by for dinner, and while the setting was lovely, the experience did not convince us fully. The Primi piatti, my spaghetti in particular, was a bit too soupy for my taste. In terms of service, at times, explaining about the menu or specific ingredients felt like a burden for the staff. A bit more warmth and enthusiasm would have improved the overall experience. Looking forward to come back when we are in Puglia again.

Wow! What a beautiful place. I was so happy to come here and sad to leave. Such a beautiful and elegant Masseria, its simple yet so classy and charming. There was clearly a lot of thought put into the style and design of the rooms, the dinning room and garden. The room was clean, inviting and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was very nice and so was the restaurant, that served the best pasta dish we had in Poglia so far. The owners are friendly and helpful. Hope to come back and would definitely recommend.
