Hotel le Torri — Hotel in Arborea

There was some confusion of my room when I checked in but the young man at the desk was excellent, positive, polite, professional and an overall pleasure to deal with. The older man at the desk was helpful and very nice as well. ||||I needed to check out a day early due to some personal issues that arose that I shall not go into here. There was a young woman at the desk.Both myself and my husband found her rude. My husband asked for 2 bottles of acqua frizzante. She did not seem to understand him???? How is that possible? Sparkling water in Italian is acqua frizzante!!! She sold him 2 bottles of flat water. Terrible.||||I then came downstairs to check out. I asked to be refunded for my second night as I had to leave due to personal reasons. She flatly said that was impossible. No customer service whatsoever. I then paid, unhappily. I asked to use the bagno. She seemed to have absolutely no idea what I said???? Again, how is that possible? Bagno is the Italian word for bathroom??? She then proceeded to send me to the pool. She said that was the bagno. i was becoming annoyed and told her that is the pool. Please again where is the bagno. She then finally said, oh, downstairs. I don't believe for a second she didn't know what acqua frizzante and bagno were.||||No refund for the second night of my stay as I needed to leave due to personal reasons, rude and completely uncooperative staff member.||||Also, the location is remote and doesn't offer much. We stayed at Le Torri for 9 nights in August and had a very good time. We are a family of three - parents and one teenage son - and we took two rooms. The price of the accommodation was extremely reasonable for August in Sardinia. ||We did not know the island at all, and chose Arborea because it had a few good restaurants, was close to the sea and had an interesting history. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Good wifi on the first floor where we stayed - no connection problems at all. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. The town was also great. Authentic Italian town with local agricultural industry (dairy and seafood) that gives the town an authentic, non-touristy feel. We had many good meals at Le Gallo Blanco and Masbi Pizza. Good service and relaxed feel at Bar Roma and especially at Nino's bar. The coast with decent beaches and clear sea is only 5-10 minutes' drive away.||The hotel has a fantastic pool. Extremely secluded and clean. The staff were very kind and helpful.||As for the reviews that mention the pasture aroma - it was very infrequent and not a problem at all. If those people want wall-to-wall tourism and sanitised conditions they should head for Costa Smeralda. If they want a relaxed, hospitable and comfortable family holiday I would strongly...

Soggiorno molto piacevole. L'Hotel è bello, ampio, c'è tanto verde, ben tenuto, pulito. Le stanze sono molto ampie e comode, così come il bagno privato: buone le dimensioni della doccia e del lavabo. Con qualche accorgimento, sarebbero perfette. La camera appare eccessivamente spartana. Anche un quadro in più cambierebbe tutto. Nel bagno, la presenza del famigerato bicchiere di plastica per infilarci dentifricio e spazzolino, non si può più vedere, soprattutto in un quattro stelle. È presente un tv di discrete dimensioni. La camera viene pulita tutti i giorni con cambio degli asciugamani. L'aria condizionata: presente con sistema centralizzato. Il termostato è interno. Il rumore che produce è un po' una tortura cinese. Bisogna fare qualcosa. Sono presenti dei graziosi balconcini con tanti fiori. La piscina è favolosa. Sufficientemente grande, tante spiaggiole (31) con ombrelloni e una zona relax con comodi divanetti. Un piacere passare la giornata a bordo piscina. All'interno dell'hotel c'è un bar e, su richiesta (ma devi recarti all'interno), è possibile avre dei drink o stuzzichini da gustare all'aperto. Se ogni tanto passasse un addetto per prendere le prenotazioni, non sarebbe male. Purtroppo tutta la zona piscina viene interdetta alle 20:30 circa. Non è molto chiaro il perché. Tuttavia, al primo piano, è presente una ampia e graziosa terrazza dove fare due chiacchere serali rilassanti. Il percorso benessere è fantastico: idromassaggio da sogno, doccia sensoriale molto carina, sauna e bagno turco favolosi. Inoltre, è presente una palestra per allenamenti aerobici. Lo spogliatoio grande e funzionale (presenti le doccie e accessori). Non vengono forniti i teli. Inoltre, sempre in questa zona, è presente anche una saletta relax. Tutto molto bello. La colazione è buona ma può essere migliorata aggiungendo qualcosa in più per la parte salata. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo è il vero fiore all'occhiello. Si spende poco e si ottiene molto. Nella sala colazione (ampia) è presente un giardino d'inverno curatissimo. Molto bello. Tanti divani nella zona relax generale e anche una ben fornita "biblioteca". Il personale molto gentile e disponibilissimo. Tuttavia, dalle 22, questo personale non c'è più (da rivedere). Tutte le norme anti-covid perfettamente rispettate.
