We arrived at the hotel around 7.30 pm. The reception is downstairs, at the entrance to the restaurant. The hostess of the hotel came out to us and, apparently, the restaurant too. It seems that we prevented her from being engaged in a restaurant with our arrival .She copied our passports and gave us the keys. For my question if there is air conditioning in the room, the answer was No. There was also no fan. She gave us a room on the first floor, right at the entrance to the hotel. The window overlooks the roadway and the entrance to the hotel. It turned out to be impossible to open the window, otherwise everyone who enters sees what is in my room. Of course, we also could not undress. It was 37 degrees outside. Then I refused to take this room and asked for another one, so that at least in the room I could undress. And then the owner of the hotel, I want to emphasize that she is not a hired worker, suddenly jumped up and started yelling at us, and that if we don’t like it, we should get out of there. She screamed so much that I thought my heart would stop. In a fit of rage, she tried to tear up copies of our passports. I stopped her , saying that I agree to take this room . Since it was already late and there were no places in other hotels. We checked it. She kept shouting wildly, telling us every time to leave the hotel if this room was not suitable for us. In the end, I could not stand it and told her that I had been traveling for more than 35 years, but I had never heard such rudeness on the part of the hotel owner. I have never seen a hotel staff treat their guests like this. We are from Israel and we are always welcome everywhere. And we connect this case as a manifestation of anti-Semitism. Because the tone of this lady changed immediately after she saw our passports. By the way, local tourists drove in after us and she gave them a proper reception. I think this behavior is simply unacceptable! ...
Read moreDO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY IN THIS HOTEL.. We had an extremely terrible experience at this place. We booked for 10 nights stay during the Ferragosto peak period. This is an old place where booking are done manually - literally written in a whole logbook and no one understand who write-who. When we arrived at 8:30 pm no one was in the counter so we went to their restaurant and had dinner. When we checked in they told us that they already gave our room to another group. Imagine us in Val D'Aosta without a place to stay in the midst of 9:15 in the evening. They are so empathetic and insensitive! I dont recommend this old place with nasty hotel managers, book Instead the next door hotel and dont waste your time and money with this...
Ci ritorneremo...
