Residence Belvedere — Hotel in Ascea

We stayed here for one week together with several other family members for a family reunion. The property is located directly behind the train station and the residence offers free shuttle service to and from the station, making it super convenient to get here by train. The residence is also walking distance from the town center with lots of restaurants and shopping opportunities nearby. The management even offers free shuttle to their private beach, which is very well maintained. The beach and the sea are very nice here. The place is also strategically located in the middle of the Cilento coast, which makes it a perfect starting spot to explore the whole area by doing day trips.||Rooms are very comfortable and have all the amenities for cooking your own meals. The swimming pool and the water slides on property are a big highlight for the kids! The animation team organized a lot of fun activities throughout the day, for big and small.||But above all, I have to write about the extreme friendliness of the whole staff, from the owners (Ing. Cuomo and his wife Anna), the director (Gino) and all the other employees. They really made us feel at home from the moment we arrived, and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was really memorable. Anna helped us several times with our laundry when we were at the beach, and when I was looking for a car to rent, the owner personally drove me with his car to the car rental to help me pick up the car, and the director picked me up from there when I had to return the car.||This is a business that is run with love and passion, and it shows in everything that the owners and the staff do. We stayed here for 2 weeks in July. From start to finish we were made to feel welcome by staff and ither guests who it appears come back year after year and know each other.It has 95% Italian guests and the resort has a very Italian feel....naturally. The entertainment such as sports and games competitions are great and all are encouraged to join in. The evening entertainment is in Italian so a little knowledge of Italian is a help. The beach is very clean, games are organised here as well by staff. A shuttle bus runs from the village to the beach and is well organised. Everything about the place is spotless. The town nearby is 5 minute walk. It is a typical Southern Italian seaside town. One main street where everything goes on. The local train station is very near the residence but the noise is negligible. Train travel is dirt cheap. Plenty of places nearby to visit by train and bus. We were without a car but we will be hiring one when we visit again to explore the mountains which are beautiful. I can't speak highly enough of the owners, the Cuomo family. Signora Anna couldn't do enough for us during our stay and we will be returning next Summer. Great family place if you love slow Italian pace...

We stayed at the Residence Belvedere for two weeks and had a wonderful time thanks to the welcoming staff, the fun and professional animation crew and the owner, sig.ra Anna, that was very attentive to our needs. The apartments were functional and very clean and the sea view breathtaking.
