Our wedding at Borgo Petrognano was an absolute dream and we cannot thank the staff enough for their wonderful care and service. Every single person was warm, attentive and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, not just on the wedding day, but throughout our entire stay. Michael, Viola, Olga, Aisha, Maria and Clelia, your kindness truly made us feel at home. A special thank you to Karen, Lorenzo, Erica and Sara for their countless responses and support during the planning process. It made our planning from Canada easy and stress free.

The property itself is breathtaking. Nestled in the Tuscan hills, Borgo Petrognano is beautifully maintained with stunning views and a charm that feels both rustic and elegant. It was the perfect backdrop for our Tuscan wedding and for our guests to experience the magic of the region.

The food was exceptional. From the welcome pizza party to the daily breakfasts, cocktail hour and our wedding dinner, every meal was full of authentic Tuscan flavors and beautifully presented. Meeting the chef, Gabriele, in person was such a joy and our guests are still raving about how delicious everything was.

Due to the unpredictable forecast, we had to move our wedding dinner indoors. At first we were disappointed but it turned into one of the most romantic and intimate parts of the day. The indoor setting was warm, rustic and candlelit. We were still able to have the ceremony and cocktail hour outdoors and have our first dance under the lit chandelier under the pergola on the terrace and moved everything back inside for the reception where we danced the night away. We highly recommend the indoor wedding dinner over the terrace during your planning, we promise you will not regret it.

Later in the evening we watched a thunderstorm sweep across the rolling Tuscan hills, an unforgettable, magical moment we could never have planned.

Borgo Petrognano is more than just a venue, it’s an experience. It gave us memories we’ll cherish forever and we are so grateful to have celebrated our wedding in such a special place. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Perfect Destination Wedding in Tuscany – Beyond Our Expectations

We hosted our destination wedding at Borgo Petrognano with 33 guests, all staying on site for three nights, and it truly exceeded every expectation. Planning from Canada without the chance to visit beforehand could have been stressful, but communication with Lorenzo and his team was seamless from the very beginning. They were prompt, patient, and incredibly helpful in answering our many detailed questions, making the entire process smooth and anxiety-free—even without a local wedding planner.

The Borgo team went above and beyond to bring our vision to life, including arranging thoughtful extras like an on-site fitness class, a walking map to Semifonte, and a wine and olive oil tasting for our guests. They also recommended excellent local vendors, which made planning from abroad remarkably easy.

The food was absolutely outstanding—from daily breakfasts to a welcome pizza party, Tuscan BBQ dinner, and even a picnic in the olive groves. Every meal was fresh, beautifully presented, and they accommodated all dietary restrictions with care and ease.

On site, Michael and his team were attentive, accommodating, and genuinely invested in making sure everything ran perfectly. The property itself is stunning—nestled in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, it provided a truly magical setting for our wedding celebration.

1000000/10! My husband and I recently planned and hosted our wedding weekend for 18 at Borgo Petrognano and it was absolutely stunning and exceeded every expectation. We are from Ohio and booked the venue in Oct 2023 for the event in May 2025, without ever seeing the villa or visiting the Tuscan region before. That personal decision certainly filled us with anxiety upon arriving but the location is breathtaking and pictures do not do the view and accommodations justice. The villa itself is meticulously maintained by the groundsman and has all of the amenities you could hope for. It was wonderful working with Karen, Erica, and Viola to plan not only the wedding but the additional days with pasta making and every meal together with our families. They were extremely helpful for any questions from me or my guests before and during our stay. Our wedding photographer and florist were also recommended by and organized through Borgo Petrognano and they were also wonderful to work with leading up to and the day of the wedding. The entire staff of Borgo Petrognano and the owner Roberta were incredible, so friendly and helpful, and a joy to be around during our stay. I would recommend Borgo Petrognano to anyone looking for a relaxing and peaceful retreat in the Tuscan countryside, for any event or stay.
