We stayed here with our two teenage sons. The house is very out of the way at the end of a road up a long hill. Very peaceful and calming; if you just wanted to get away from it all you could just stay there during the day. Bea and Marco were the most welcoming hosts and made every effort to ensure that our stay was relaxing and that we had everything that we need. Bea went out of her way to do lots of extra little things that went beyond the call of duty. Breakfast provided is continental - there is always yoghurt, fruit, bread, honey and usually a home-made cake or a tart; all delicious.
The rooms were spotless and delightful. Note that although internet is available, you have to ask for it and bandwidth is limited. You can take some long walks direct from the house as it is actually on a well known footpath called the salt trail. Or it's a great base for seeing further into the mountains - lakes and forests - or for exploring the coast - wonderful seaside towns, beaches and water activities.
Bea and Marco also run an outdoor adventure business and will do canyoning and para-gliding. Although we love canyoning, there was a drought on, so we opted for the paragliding and we didn't regret it. A fantastic experience and videos of the trip were included...
