HOTEL MONTEVERDE — Hotel in Bistagno

Spent a week there. What a wonderful place! A small hotel, recently and permanently renovated. They are serving delicious breakfast with regional Piemont specialties. Very much client-oriented: You can tell that thay are going "the extra mile" to make the stay for their guests pleasant and memorable. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. When we were facing a medical issue with a tooth, Alessandro and his wife (both from the hotel team) arranged immediatly a visit with their family dentist and we were able to continue our vacation. Incredible. The rooms are nicely furnished and everything very well kept. The quiet hotel is embedded in the middle of the town of Bistagno with its authentic Italian town center. No tourists. A couple of very small local alimetari (food shops), bakeries as well as two ice-cream places just around the corner. This all gives you the impression of living the "Italian" way. We strongly recommend visiting Acqui Terme, the nearest town - also totally authentic and not touristy at all. We expected nothing and were absolutely...

We have stayed at the Monteverde Hotel for our wedding and so did all our guests. We had all a fantastic time; the hotel location is perfect to visit all the most marvellous sites in the Monferrato. The Vandone's family, owner of the hotel, and Sara at reception, went above and beyond to make our wedding and our stay truly unforgettable with their attention to every detail and needs and politeness and professionalism. The rooms are spacious, extremely elegant, stylish and clean. Furnished with the greatest taste. We also booked 3 apartments and those as well are modern, elegant, clean, functional with great views from the balconies. Breakfast was "delish" and the food at the restaurant to die for. Monteverde hotel is located in the center of Bistagno, about 15 minutes away from Acqui Terme. There is not a whole lot going on in the town itself (in term of tourism), but it is a very convenient hub for traveling to nearby wine country and to Acqui Termi for night life (concerts, dinner etc). it is great to have such a nice hotel here. |||| The hotel is a completely renovated with large rooms, hardwood floor and modern bathrooms. The air-conditioning worked efficiently, and shower was very comfortable with high quality toiletry. The bed was comfortable, and room was quiet.
