we chose the hotel for a 1 night stay on our way back to Munich, and because it was in walking distance to the restaurant we wanted to go to in the evening. based on the many great reviews we chose to book, though we were also a bit unsure about the location close to the street.||At first sight we were unsure whether we had made the right choice as the house looks a bit worn down, and when you step in the look is somewhere between very worn down yet very charming.||The whole place seems to be stuck in a timewarp in terms of architecture and furniture - however, it is charming and very clean. ||Particularly enjoyable were the very comfortable beds, great mattress, comfy duvet and wonderful fresh bedlinen. ||||The street literally runs along the house and under the balcony, but the views of the lake are incredible and thanks to the soundproof new windows you barely hear the traffic at night.||||Breakfast was fine, with of course fantastic Italian coffee ;-)||||We would definitely book again for a short stay over, a gem for a budget, thank you to...

Read moreWe were looking for something authentic charming and old to experience the nostalgic Italian lake town. The room had beautiful views of the lake and the surrounding areas. The 2 ladies who ran the establishment were almost invisible but always there to accommodate. Book breakfast as it’s a sleepy part of of the lake and it’s only euro 6 per person. Cafe latte, cuppucino machine ready, and apart from the beautiful italian bread there’s fresh crepe they do with nutella sprinkled with icing sugar. Yoghurt and a healthy portion of creamy butter. Will be good to energize for a healthy long walk in time for lunch (ask for Il Momi restaurant down the hill you’ll need at least 2 nights prior booking. Il Momi sits at the lake.
