Le Residenze di Rivalto — Hotel in Chianni

spending 12 days with my family, the first night was already a bad surprise as i the morning it appeared that all our cash money was stolen.. the thieves entered the apartment via a small window of the bathroom.. hopefully we slept in the upper level... closing all the windows during the night was rather challenging after a day with temperatures above 30°C and no AC.. .. ||hotel personal offered to go to the police, close the windows during the night and leave if we feel unsecure... request to change the room was ignored, compensation in any form was refused... we stay with the feeling that is is our fault... of course no safe or any information in the room that this may happen... by the way another family was victim in the same night.. thieves entered the bedroom upstairs while they were sleeping...for the time being the worst vacation in italy...

Estuvimos una semana en julio y ocupamos un apartamento y una habitación doble. El trayecto desde el aeropuerto de Pisa es fácil y al abandonar la autopista el paisaje es realmente precioso, tal y como te imaginas la Toscana. Siguiendo las indicaciones de Google maps te lleva sin problemas. Los últimos kilómetros hasta el alojamiento son por una carretera estrecha, empinada y con curvas. Está situado en Rivalto un pueblo muy pequeño que no tiene nada, salvo el Palazzo del Borgo con una pizzería deliciosa con vistas a la Toscana. Cerca, aunque hay q ir con coche porque el camino es una carretera, está Chianni, un poco más grande y con servicios. Hicimos excursiones a todas partes incluida Florencia sin problemas. |El alojamiento tiene varios edificios, una parte parece abandonada y la otra, donde nos alojamos, es nueva o recién reformada y cómoda. El parking amplio. No hay servicio de habitaciones: camas, limpieza etc. Hay gel en sobre pero para 1 día. No tienen aire acondicionado ni mosquiteras en las ventanas. Tuvimos que dejar cerrado porque nos comieron los mosquitos el primer día y pasamos muchísimo calor. La piscina está bastante abandonada, las sombrillas están rotas y la ducha obstruida con un gran charco lleno de avispas toda la semana. El desayuno está bien, aunque no hay tostadora y lo recoges en recepción en una cesta o bandeja y te lo llevas a tu habitación. Es un poco incómodo y tomarlo después también si no tienes mesa. En cuanto al precio, lo encontramos barato, con respecto a similares alojamientos en la Toscana. Si cuidaran algún detalle...

Nice place , we were there 3 times but this year was the last. Our apartment was robbed (ground floor) when we slept on the 1st floor in sleeping rooms. The staff didn’t support us after it happened at all. They felt for no compensation whatsoever. Thief did the hole in door to open it. They had a lot of time to searched everything.
