LOCATION: way up above Lago di Garda in a mountainous setting. The winding road up is pretty steep, but once you are there you can enjoy fresh air, a beautiful view down to the lake, jogging in the woods and hiking on narrow mountain paths. ||HOTEL: consists of a main building with restaurant, bar and hotel rooms, and separate rows of bungalows. The overall impression is of comfortable functionality.||ROOMS: We had a Type B apartment. This was in a row of small bungalows on the slope of a hill, with a small terrace overlooking the lake (the view was breathtaking). The apartment was on two levels. On the upper floor there was a bedroom with a king-size bed and bathroom. Through a hall you reach the kitchen which is on a kind of gallery overlooking the room downstairs. The downstairs room has a sofa bed and goes out to the terrace. All together, very much space. Also a lot of cupboard space. Important note: you are in nature, so ther might be ants. Our child unfortunately left brownie crumbs on the floor in the lower room and very soon we had ants; we used lemon juice to combat these. Also, for the heating (and it can be cold in April, you are in the mountains) we had to call reception every day to have it switched on. If I remember correctly, heating is charged extra, but you will see the apartment charges on the hotel website).||FOOD: was solid. Not fantastic, but absolutely OK. You get a choice of courses to chose from for each meal in advance, and there is a salad bar.||TENNIS: there are quite a few tennis courts at the hotel, but these are also used by the tennis school working with the hotel. However, at walking distance up the hill there are other courts that you can book. The tennis school of the hotel is OK quality and takes it's work quite seriously, but be careful if you write to the hotel saying you would wish to take lessons, because they take it as a firm commitment and will insist on charging you.||POOL: the indoor swimming pool was good for a swim, it has a fair size and is not just a tub.||GYM: is not a serious gym, just few machines, not to be compared with a real gym.||OVERALL: we felt good there, the place is really OK for what it is - a rather simple but nice sports hotel. Spacious apartment, solid food, tennis, jogging and beautiful nature all together made a nice holiday. Would go...

We stayed in an apartment with a Mountain View and balcony. Here’s the honest pros and cons…||Pros:|✅ The view is wonderful|✅ The apartment is modern and very clean|✅ The pools and sauna were nice, can’t comment on the jacuzzi as we only tried it once and the bubbles weren’t on (not sure why)|✅ Situated close to Limone Sul Garda - a must visit location 🍋|✅ We didn’t eat at the restaurant but it looked like the outside area had a lovely view|✅ Peaceful setting, a few walkable restaurants near by|✅ Good value for money||Cons:|❎ The welcome wasn’t the friendliest, it was pretty average |❎ The apartment was a bit cold, but we personally didn’t want to pay extra for heating|❎ We had to spend a lot of time finding English channels on the TV - ended up mainly watching BBC World News just before bed|❎ No oven - I wish we new this as we done a shop on the way and bought some oven foods|❎ There’s dog(s) near by and we heard a fair bit of barking during our stay, luckily not through the night though|❎ Shower takes a long time to get hot|❎ Be prepared to be bitten by mosquitoes - obviously this isn’t the hotels fault, but it’s just a warning, so that you bring some bug spray. There’s also a lot of wasps that come to visit your balcony if you eat outside!|❎ Apartment block is quite far away from the hotel, you have to walk down a steep hill to get there so it’s missing the buzz and vibe of being around people |❎ Pay to play pool and there’s no triangle|❎ Paying extra for bedding and towels||About the drive:|As many reviews have already mentioned the roads are windy and they’re not kidding! We have rented cars in lots of locations and it was a bit tedious having to go up and down these little windy roads every time you want to go out! The journey to the bottom of the hill takes about 15 mins if you’re driving sensibly, which some people do and some don’t, (again, not the hotels fault). In our opinion, it’s well worth it for the view, but it all depends how much you...
