Il posto sarebbe bellissimo, in mezzo alla natura, e alle montagne, vicino al lago e ben realizzato. Peccato una disorganizzazione pressochè totale. Eravamo lì per un torneo di tennis con un centinaio di partecipanti tra ragazzi e ragazze, e altrettanti accompagnatori, e il bar/ristorante NON FACEVA PANINI. Intorno al bar, 10 campi da tennis pieni, bar pieno di gente ma niente panini. Uno strudel, al massimo. Ne hanno fatto uno per noi "in via eccezionale". Motivo? Perché - pare - non li hanno avvertiti che ci sarebbe stata tanta gente e quindi non hanno ordinato il pane. Sia a pranzo che a cena gli unici due camerieri ovviamente ci mettevano mezz'ore a prendere ordini, tutto era "sottodimensionato" rispetto alle necessità dell'evento. Alla gentile signora che mi spiegava che non sapeva ci sarebbe stata così tanta gente ho fatto notare che il torneo di tennis con i 100 partecipanti era di dominio pubblico con iscrizioni su Internet e che le prenotazioni all'albergo vicino (della stessa proprietà) non avrebbero dovuto lasciarle dubbi, ma tant'è. Purtroppo anche i bagni erano in condizioni non belle: niente luce e ventola nel bagno degli uomini, niente carta per le mani e un bel moscone verde enorme morto sul poggiolo della finestra. Insomma sarebbe bastato dare una pulita, e mettere un paio di persone in più per rendere tutto più piacevole e prendersi le 4 stelle che il...

Great food and the boss still serves himself. We came to Baita more or less by coincidence, as a hailstorm in Riva led to all the restaurants along the west coast of Lake Garda beeing closed or crowded. The restaurant with a nice outside area lies in the middle of nowhere at the end of Baita. We chose Spaghetti Carbonara and a mixed Italian salad, which was huge. Es ist ein sehr verstecktes Restaurant, die Fahrt dahin gleicht einem Abenteuer. Es ist gemütlich eingerichtet und es gibt sehr viele Tische. Wir waren ohne Reservierung ca. 17:00Uhr vor Ort und es gab keine Probleme. Unser Tisch war noch schmutzig von der Zigaretten-Asche des Vorgängers und ja man darf im Außenbereich Rauchen, was auch völlig in Ordnung ist. Der Bestellvorgang ging ziemlich zügig auch desshalb weil die Gastgeber ein bisschen Deutsch sprechen und verstehen - das ist echt top und hat uns riesig gefreut. Wir hatten Bruschetta als Vorspeise - hat super geschmeckt und als Hauptgang gab es eine Pizza Quattro Formaggi - ebenfalls sehr lecker. Um 18:00 Uhr wurde es dann richtig voll und die Kellner (2 Mann) waren ziemlich überfordert. Man sollte also wenn man in Ruhe essen möchte, etwas eher ins Restaurant gehen. Alles in allem ein...
