Residenza Bagni & Miramonti — Hotel in Comunità territoriale della Val di Fiemme

My family (2 adults, 2 children) stayed at the „Bagni e Miramonti” pension in Carano in January 2015. Wonderful! The pension is in a little town called Carano which is close (walking distance if you have strong legs!) to Cavalese. Carano is an atmospheric little place … small but everything is there … little market, butcher, bakery, tobacconist, pharmacy, bar … and a ski bus! The town is on a hill and offers a great view of Cavalese and the surrounding mountains. Most people (I know at least) take a car but we relied on the ski-bus which was surprisingly convenient and punctual. There are a few ski areas in the vicinity but mostly we skied in the place which was closest and – in our opinion- the best – „Alpe Cermis” it’s called … long slopes (also expert), no people, and a wonderful grill (our favorites: cheeseburger, sausage, pizza, and kebab). The pension itself is very elegantly put-together: clean, comfortable, beautiful views (at least from our windows). Claudio – who runs the place – was very helpful. The Wi-Fi connection is horrible (as some others have written) but is a good Wi-Fi connection really why you go on holiday? Our family (2 adults, 3 children) stayed at this pension in February 2016. The location is great – walking distance to shops and other amenities. The apartment consisted of master bedroom, kids bedroom, bathroom and saloon with kitchenette. Everything was in proper size and well-equipped. The room offered great view of the Valley. We occupied apartment no 10 with car park just nearby the door. It was fantastic solution especially if one has small kids and sometimes must carry them up sleeping from the car to the bed. The boots box & drier was not more than 10 meters from apartment. The owner, Carlo, was very helpful and nice.||Wi-Fi connection was bad from time to time and we missed electric kettle in the kitchen. But they were only two small, insignificant items. The tiny town of Carano hides this amazing appartment-hotel resort with fabulous views over the Val di Fiemme. We've stayed here four times already both summer and winter and it's the perfect base camp to explore the magnificient Dolomites.
