La Corte Rosada — Hotel in Crabonaxa/Villasimius

We recently stayed at this hotel and had a lovely and relaxing time.||||We were travelling with a small child and we found the family who own the accommodation to be incredibly helpful. Alex and his grandmother could not do enough for us and were always there to provide us with things such as hot water, a clothes dryer and anything else we needed during our stay.||||We had originally planned to stay for four nights only but we liked the hotel so much that we stayed for a further three nights - something we have never done in the past! ||||The 'room' was incredibly spacious and clean and contained a bedroom, a living room and a bathroom and the food in the restaurant was excellent (thank you Cinzia!).||||The hotel is about a 5 minute drive from the centre of Villasimius and as a result the surroundings are very quiet and peaceful.||||The family made us feel so welcome that we were rather sad to leave at the end of our trip.||||A huge thank you to Alex, his grandmother and Cinzia for making our stay so wonderful.||||We would highly recommend this hotel to...

Warm welcome with helpful briefing about local area, such as the best places to watch the sunset, the differences between different beaches, and many other nuggets of information, including local parking.||Spacious and room with plenty of hanging space and proper hangers. Comfortable bed and convenient separate sitting room for not waking the other person if getting up early, plus 2(!) outdoor patios. Good shower and nice products. Tranquil place beautifully planted with flowering trees and shrubs. ||Good breakfast with lots of options including fresh pineapple and melon and an assortment of high quality pastries. Proper coffee—and no problem with having more than one. I certainly would have lingered longer if the van hadn’t arrived to pick me up to go diving (see separate review for that). ||This was a comfortable place to spend the night and I would stay here again in a heartbeat, especially after our initial chat, where we learned that Villasimius has much more to offer than...

I have just spent 11 days in this wonderful place and can only express a very positive feedback on all aspects. Difficult to define it, even though it offers all the services of a well managed modern hotel it definitely is more than a mere hotel. It is the perfect choice for those looking for peace and privacy (possible also in the busiest season!), distinctive and customized service, space and comfort (only 10 rooms or rather suites since they are over 40 square meters!), excellent cuisine & wine list (and just for the hotel patrons so no queues or need to book days in advance), family run and dog-friendly, very nice and original layout, away from the town congestion and yet close enough to enjoy its advantages....
