Ivana welcomed us with open arms. She even gave us special parking for our motorbikes, which was our priority. We didn't even have to ask, she saw us coming and directed us promptly. Our room was spacious and the furniture fitting to the environment with a breathtaking view of the Piemonte hills. We were comfortable, ate exceptionally well and treated like royalty. Ivan is multitasks. She is the hostess, chef and wine connoisseur. For breakfast she made a special no lactose delicious breakfast cake and scrambled eggs, as she remembered from the evening before my dietary issues. This is going the extra mile and some. We stayed with our family and enjoyed the wonderful stay in the countryside. We recommend to spend the evening with a splendid dinner and wine tasting prepared and served by Ivana at the terrace of the restaurant which is located in the same building. Wir sind vor etlichen Jahren bei einer unserer Reisen durch das Piemont auf Ivana's "La Briccola" gestoßen und waren seither viele Male dort. Freundlichkeit und Herzlichkeit sind hier Markenzeichen. Abseits der Touristenströme - das Piemont ist davon ja Gott sei Dank im Vergleich zu anderen Regionen weitgehend verschont geblieben - freuen wir uns jedes Mal auf's Neue, was Ivana in der Küche zaubert. Dieses Mal hatten wir Beide carne cruda (je 8€), einmal Bolloncine di vitello in barolo mit verdure, ich Tagliate di manzo mit Salat (je 15€). Aber sie brachte dann mal halt so zwischendurch auch noch eine Platte mit salsiccia in vino rosso, sah nicht toll aus, schmeckte aber göttlich und noch einen kleinen Zucchini-Flan mit frischem polpa von kleinen Tomaten, superlecker. Getrunken haben wir als Aperitif einen Arneis, danach einen Barbera, den Hauswein. Alles hat prima geschmeckt, auch wenn es optisch nicht besonders dekoriert wird. Anschließend noch einen. Café (1€) und einen selbstgemachten Grappa, der beste, den ich je getrunken habe. Alles in allem: jeder Besuch bei Ivana ist ein Erlebnis und ein schöner Abend und man spürt, sie freut sich, wenn man wieder kommt und erkennt einem mühelos wieder, auch wenn das nur ein oder zweimal im Jahr - leider - möglich ist.
