What a wonderful venue to dine at, perfect outdoor terrace, garden filled with roses and grape vines, outdoor dining, huge outdoor wood burning stove and grill for visitors to view. The variety of meat platters are delicious and for 20 / 30 Euro per person is awesome. Music, ambiance, great happy staff, fast service, great wine beer list, the swings and huge parking space perfect addition. Great for couples and families, very romantic and picturesque for photo taking. Very clean, indoor outdoor, upstairs venue for private parties. 😀 A gem to visit and dine at...tables are full capacity...

This was one of the best porterhouse steaks I've ever had. It even rivals Peter Lugar's in NYC. It's less fatty since they don't drench it in butter like Lugar's and the rub is delicious.

They forgot the potatoes but I was glad they did. I had more room for the steak. Even so, I only finished half of it! (Took the rest home of course)

Not easy to find in the dark. Keep a lookout for a small sign pointing to a steep gravel road. Follow it to the end.

If you love beef, and you're in the Barolo area, this place is a must!

Oh and they even let us bring our own bottle of wine. No...

Absolutely fantastic steak. Exactly what an open fire steak should taste like. Nice crust, juicy and tender on the inside, and perfectly medium rare as ordered. Keep in mind that there are both expensive cuts of meat and more “entry levels” on the menu. From our visit I can confirm that the more you pay the better the cut of meat will be (both were fantastic but the entrecot di vaca gallera was out of this world).
