B&B Il mulino di Aurora — Hotel in Dosso del Liro

With a lot of heart and a great sense of aesthetics, art, and history, three sisters have given their grandfather's old mill a second life. Carefully restored and tastefully furnished rooms let you feel the history of the place. On the other hand, there are modern bathrooms and proper Wi-Fi (... for those who can't live without it).

And the warm hospitality of Melissa and Selima makes guests feel like they are on a family visit — providing them not only with delicious homemade cakes and liqueurs but also with practical tips and recommendations for the region. Many thanks for that!

Practical: there is a bus stop right outside the B&B. So you can reach "Il mulino di Aurora" from Gravedona without your own car.

And if you are traveling by car: don't be fooled by Google Maps. Just follow the main road to "Dosso del Liro"... unless you love very narrow streets on a slope and...

Our stay at the mill was an amazing experience. The venue is a very tastefully restored old family mill and bakery that had been given a new life by the daughters of who owned the mill. It’s situated in the serene hillside above the como lake where you will find peace, quiet and panoramic views.

Our host Melissa was such a kind hearted person who made you feel like you we’re visiting your italian auntie. Not only does she provide wonderfully homecooked breakfast but also serves as a great local guide!
