Bar Trattoria San Pietro — Restaurant in Gravedona ed Uniti

What a great experience. We speak very little Italian and they spoke little English but we made it work. While we waited on our food, "mom" came for a chat. The entire experience felt like we were in a truly authentic Italian home having a meal. We arrived after normal lunchtime, but he listed a few items they could make. We recognized a few and said lets do it. The food was excellent. Experience will be remembered. The view was great....

As a tourist i got everything i wanted: really good italian food, two pretty old ladies who prepared for us, gteat view and a reliable price. The "waitress" told us that today they have only 3 different course, risotto, meat or pasta so we choose among it. We ordered really good house made wine that we also took home (i payed for a 1, 5 liter 5 euros)

I can really recommend it for tourists, who want to peek in an isolated little villag...

Couldn't rate this place higher, my twin brother and I were told to come here by a local in Varenna and we were blown away by the venue set on a waterfall and old Mill backdrop, all tables outside, one waiter who is also your chef and Sommelier. This place was amazing. The food was epic and the vino just as lovely. Appreciated the owners personality and service. He also speaks great English. Enjoy your time here! Be present and enjoy...
