This hotel is a ten minute drive from the cable car, has ample car parking, warm rooms and comfortable beds. The breakfast is a typical continental breakfast and the evening meals are good quality and very good for the price.||||One pleasant surprise was the speed of the internet, obviously it wasn't capable of streaming netflix (unless you were the only person in the hotel) but was fine for normal use. Das Highlight ist die Küche: Für 30.- Euro werden in der Halbpension herausragende Menüs inkl. Wasser serviert. Das Essen war immer top und zudem auch schön angerichtet. Der langjährige Koch stammt aus der Region, entsprechend landen viele lokale Gerichte auf dem Teller. Er arbeitete aber auch schon in Deutschland, internationale Küche ist also auch kein Fremdwort. Im Hotel ist alles sauber. Die Zimmer sind unterschiedlich modern (teils renoviert). Gemütlich ist der Lobby-Bereich mit heissem Sitzofen und weiteren Sitzgelegenheiten, der sich am ruhigen Abend z.B. zum Lesen eines Buches empfiehlt. Das Hotel liegt im Winter meist im Schatten. Das Hotel liegt zwar etwas von der recht viel befahrenen Strasse weg, aber man hört den Verkehr dennoch und hat zur Strasse und zur Tankstelle hin einen mittelmässig tollen Ausblick. Die Lage ist für Skifahrer gut. Mit dem ÖV ist das Hotel zwar nur wenige Male täglich zu erreichen, aber mit mit dem Skibus (5 Minuten zu Fuss, 5 Euro hin und zurück) ist es gut ans tolle Skigebiet Trevalli angeschlossen. Abbiamo soggiornato dalla fine di agosto ai primi di settembre (8 giorni) . Albergo situato lontano dalla strada principale, ai limiti del bosco. Molte stanze sono state ammodernate. Ampia sala da pranzo con tavoli ben distanziati, ampia zona bar con molti tavoli. Il personale, sia alla reception che in sala molto gentile, cordiale e sorridente, sempre attento in caso di chiamata. Stanza ampia con terrazzo, bagno un po' datato che avrebbe bisogno di un piccolo restatuo, ma abbastanza ampio e - sopratutto - pulito. Cambio di biancheria tre volte in 8 giorni (ottimo). Pulizia della stanza accurata (ho visto pulire anche sotto il letto e i mobili). Colazione al mattino con un buffet ricco buffet di dolce e salato. Cena con quattro scelte di primi, secondi e contorni, due scelte di dessert. Unica nota negativa (non troppo, si tratta di scelte in parte condivisibili): mancanza di un buffet per contorni e nel dessert non è prevista la frutta).
